  • Patent number: 7163169
Abstract: Disclosed is a system for regulating fishing line tension. The system comprises a plurality of line retainers. Each line retainer comprises a holder on which the line rests, an elongated portion, and a clip that is attached to the surface of a fishing rod proximate the handle. The line retainer may be fabricated as one seamless piece of resilient material or may comprise at least two pieces of different material. The method for regulating the free spooling of a fishing line enables a fishing enthusiast to regulate tension on the fishing line with an open bail or in the free spool position on the drag system.

  • Patent number: 7103989
Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for drying and conditioning sports equipment and apparel. A base contains an airflow generator, such as a motorized fan. Ambient temperature air is conveyed through a plurality of tubular members. Apertures in the tubular members allow for airflow to be conveyed to the surface of sports equipment or apparel. The sports equipment and apparel is maintained a distance from the apertures by pegs, pins or other support members. The base may contain a pad for conveying airflow with a fragrance or an antifungal agent.

  • Publication number: 20040143376
Abstract: A tire deflation warning system is based solely on the measured distance traveled by each tire of a vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a sensor which generates pulses representative of the distance traveled by each wheel such as generated by an ABS brake system. The system accumulates the pulses in the controller to determine whether the vehicle is stable. If the vehicle is stable, it performs a test to cover individual tires, opposing diagonal tires or any combination of three tires using an average of the diagonal ratio. These tests are performed by utilizing the pulses generated by each wheel representing the distance traveled by the wheel.
