  • Patent number: 4313699
Abstract: An adjustable pneumatic conveyor tube booster valve for banding to the top of a conveyor tube with the booster valve inlet located remotely from the pneumatic conveyor tube. The booster valve is constructed from an annular rubber sleeve which flexes inwardly in response to high inlet pressure in the booster valve to permit flow of air into the conveyor tube but returns to its original shape when the pressure in the inlet drops to prevent back flow of material from the conveyor tube into the booster valve. An adjustable cap permits adjustment of gas flow into the booster tube.

  • Patent number: 4264244
Abstract: A rotor diverter valve operable for diverting materials in a pneumatic conveying line to secondary locations with the rotor diverter valve including a housing and pivotally mounted rotor having a pair of converging passages therein that can direct material from an inlet in the housing to one of a plurality of outlets on the housing through proper position of the rotor within the housing. The housing includes interchangeable inlet and outlet attachments that can be tightly sealed around the converging passages in the rotor.

  • Patent number: 4200412
Abstract: A dense phase pneumatic conveying system with pressurized air applied at the source to deliver granular material through a conveying line to a receiver with a shut-off valve having an air leakage path located in the conveying line operated by a sensing element to limit the rate of flow of the pressurized air at the end of the conveying cycle.

  • Patent number: 4134466
Abstract: A pneumatic conveyor tube weigh jet assembly comprising a pivotally suspended holding chamber, a load cell for determining the weight of material in the holding chamber and flexible connections which allow for the weigh jet assembly to be permanently connected into a pneumatic conveying system.

  • Patent number: 3955413
Abstract: An electrical system for measuring the speed of flow in a body of a fluid includes a current generator for energizing a coil and establishing a magnetic field in the body of the fluid. A current switching circuit connected between the current generator and the coil, cyclically reverses direction of current flow through the coil to reverse the magnetic field. The switching circuit includes energy storage capacitors for storing energy released by the coil during one half of each cycle and for returning the stored energy to the coil during the next half cycle. A control pulse generator supplies control pulses for cyclically controlling the reversal of current flow and the storage and release of energy in the capacitors.
