  • Publication number: 20230420820
Abstract: A rectangular waveguide circulator consists of multiple sections that meet at a common junction where a tapered ferrite portion is disposed. A ferrite portion is disposed within a hollow space adjacent the common junction. The ferrite portion has a shape that includes an upper portion, a middle portion, and a lower portion, such that a cross sectional area of the upper portion is greater than a cross-sectional area of the middle portion, and such that a cross sectional area of the lower portion is greater than the cross-sectional area of the middle portion.

  • Publication number: 20020081017
Abstract: In the registration of images on a substrate, a substrate parameter is determined for the substrate. A bin data set defining a plurality of bins that each delimit a range of substrate parameters and have an associated bin instruction is retrieved. The particular bin that contains the determined substrate parameter and its associated bin instruction is identified. In response to this bin instruction, the determination of the substrate parameter is repeated, the substrate is rejected, or an image is scaled and registered on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 5372818
Abstract: A novel method for using domperidone, a dopamine receptor antagonist, for treating fescue toxicosis in animals is provided. Fescue toxicosis is caused by animals grazing on endophyte-infected fescue grass. Treatment of the animal with various dosages of domperidone results in effective management of the toxin. The domperidone treatments do not cause any substantial adverse behavioral or neurological side effects in the animal. Domperidone is a more effective treatment for fescue toxicosis than previously-known agents such a metoclopramide and sulpiride.

  • Patent number: 4170948
Abstract: An apparatus for injecting fluid in soil of the type comprising a hollow pipe which is pushed into the soil. The apparatus is connected to a fluid source such as a garden hose for the purpose of irrigating trees, garden plants, lawns or the like. A vibrator powered by fluid flow through the apparatus is attached to the pipe. The vibrator imparts a reciprocating force to the pipe which aids the user in penetrating the soil.
