The aperture portions of the device have edge guards which act to protect the cargo strap from damage.

The stake pocket tie-down includes post section that fits into a stake opening of the flatbed trailer. The post section includes a pass-through opening and a top stationary platform having a shoulder for resting on a stake opening. A rotating base having a retention collar is located above the stationary platform. A rotating post is fixed to the rotating base and passes through and is rotatingly attached to the stationary platform. A swiveling D-ring is connected to the retention collar. That ring can rotate relative to the stationary platform. A securing device having a handle passes through the pass-through opening. A retention device retains the securing device in the pass-through opening.

Diagnostic and therapeutic polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies are also a feature of the present invention, as are infectious clones useful in the propagation of the virus and in the preparation of vaccines. Particularly important aspects of the invention include vaccines that provide TTV ORF1 protein, or peptide fragments thereof, as antigen.

    Abstract: A deicing system for applying a deicing mixture to an aircraft is provided. Water is enclosed in a first tank, and deicing fluid in a second tank. A first pump transfers water through a heater, to a heat exchanger located in the second tank. The deicing fluid is thereby heated to a desired operating temperature by the hot water flowing through the heat exchanger, with the flow of hot water controlled by a heater control device. The first pump and second pump transfer heated water and heated deicing fluid, respectively, to a mixing chamber. A mixing control means controls the respective flows to provide the desired mixture. The mixture of water and deicing fluid is then applied to the aircraft via a nozzle.

    Abstract: A wedge-shaped whipstock is provided for directional well drilling which tapers from the lead end to a thick section at the bottom, and is fabricated from a tough polymeric material. An adhesive coating is applied to the outside surface of the wedge for permanent adherence of the whipstock to the surface of the drill hole. A deformable highly viscous material can fill and complement the internal wedge portion to produce a cylindrical configuration prior to use. Alternatively, or in conjunction with the deformable viscous material, a compressive element having a shaped compression face and made from a frangible material may be formed on the drill bit and/or attached to the prepared whipstock for the lowering of the tool into the drill hole and bonding the whipstock in place. The bottom surface of the whipstock is reinforced for positioning in the hole over a bridge plug or broken drill pipe.
