Abstract: A method and apparatus for performing an electromagnetic analysis of an electrical circuit. One or more super-sections are each defined as electromagnetically isolated portions of an electrical circuit that can be analyzed and processed in parallel. Optionally and preferably, at least some of the super-sections are defined to overlap each other in order to support a range of continuity of analysis that prioritizes coverage based upon the proximity between ports of interest. As a result, the invention provides an improved combination of accuracy, efficiency and scalability relative to other known electromagnetic analysis techniques.
