Abstract: A water floatation board includes a pair of curved side fins for an increase in holding power of the board when in the matter, and without increasing drag during board use. Each curved side fin has a concave surface that faces a centerline of the board, and a convex surface that is opposite of the concave surface. The inner and outer surfaces merge to form leading and trailing edges, and a fin tip. The use of the concave surface allows the fin area to increase without an increase in fin depth, thus providing greater holding power without increasing drag.

Abstract: A wakeboard binding plate assembly includes a disc and ring. The disc is sized to fit within the opening of the ring, with each of the disc and ring including irregular surfaces, respectively positioned to engage each other. The disc is mounted to a portion of a boot assembly of the wakeboard. The ring is adapted to be fastened to a wakeboard, with the disc held in place between the disc and a boot assembly for the wakeboard, engagement between the irregular surfaces of the disc and the ring preventing rotation of the disc. Loosening the ring allows the disc to rotate so that the boot assembly can be easily moved to a desired alignment.

Abstract: A wakeboard having rear and front center fins and a pair of spaced-apart, generally parallel, canted rear and front asymmetric side fins to provide enhanced rider control and performance of the wakeboard during maneuvers.

Abstract: A soft wakeboard for use behind watercraft, the wakeboard having a central torsion box with front and rear fin blocks, to secure front and rear fins thereto, and strengthened foam core blocks on either side to provide a foam core material. A closed-cell foam top skin layer and a smooth, polymer bottom skin layer are shaped and bonded to the contoured core material. Vertically extending fins are secured to the fin blocks and extend from the bottom skin layer.

Abstract: In known correlation apparatus for identifying the delay between two signals, the current polarity of the lagging signal is repeatedly compared with sets of successively earlier samples of the polarity of the leading signal which are temporarily stored in a binary word register, the results are counted for each digit position of the word, and a signal is generated indicating the position for which the count first reaches a given value. Such apparatus is improved by using as the register a plurality of serially connected shift registers which are operated at different integrally related speeds.
