Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for collecting activity data with a removably attached mobile device. The mobile device may be moved to various holders configured to be used in different activities. The data is collected according to a determined activity. The start and end of a session is automatically detected based on connectivity to the holder. Metrics may be tracked for specific gear, as well as various spans of time such as sessions, seasons, and/or lifetimes. Milestones and highlights may be determined for various combinations of the various activities, gear and/or terms.

Abstract: Systems and methods for recursively generating pivot tables are described. A processor provides, for display, a first table including a first set of results, each result including values corresponding to a first dimension. Each value of the first dimension is associated with a corresponding actionable object for further filtering a data set. In response to an action on an actionable object, the processor identifies a first set of entries of the plurality of entries that correspond to a value of the first dimension with which the actionable object is associated. The processor receives a second request to generate a second table from the first table identifying a second dimension. The processor generates the second table including a second set of results having values corresponding to the second dimension identified in the second request.

The stand is configured to cooperate with the housing for the housing and the stand to support the apparatus on a surface. The stand is movable on the housing between a retracted position and an extended position. In the retracted position the stand is substantially flat against the housing. In the extended position the stand projects from the housing with a general triangular shape.
