  • Patent number: 7953395
Abstract: Enhanced message notification is provided by an enhanced notification function element and a subscriber preference profile database. The enhanced notification function element queries the subscriber preference profile database to obtain subscriber communication terminal capabilities information, which it uses to select a message notification technology. The enhanced notification function element may then format an enhanced notification that is delivered to a communication terminal through a delivery system architecture appropriate for the selected message notification technology. The enhanced notification may contain: a message type indicator; an identifier of the party leaving the message; a date and time that the message was deposited; multimedia objects; and other enhanced information. The enhanced notification function element may also query a terminal roaming status database in order to determine if the enhanced message should be sent when the terminal is roaming.

  • Patent number: 7766512
Abstract: An LED light system has an LED light module for inserting into a standard fixture. The fixture has a housing and cover for sealing the enclosure. The LED module contains a shell or outer surface having a matching form factor as the housing for making physical contact with the housing over a sufficient surface area to provide good thermal contact. A substrate is mounted on a support structure. A plurality of LEDs is disposed on the substrate. A heat transfer agent or medium transfers heat from the LEDs to the housing. The outer surface of the LED module spreads the heat over its surface area and firmly contacts the surface of the housing for good thermal transfer. The heat transfer medium is made of a thermally conductive material such as aluminum or copper and formed to contact a surface area of the LED module.

  • Publication number: 20100089341
Abstract: A hydrogen augmented crankcase ventilation system includes hydrogen injection to facilitate the combustion of crankcase fumes, for example blow-by, in the engine. The system preferably includes a hydrogen generation system as a hydrogen source and introduces the hydrogen into the engine through the engine's fuel injection system. A fumes hose connects the crankcase to the air intake, and a clean air hose connects a clean air source to the crankcase. An orifice or a vacuum regulator cooperates with the fumes hose and may be included to regulate crankcase vacuum. A filter resides inline with the fumes hose to capture solids or liquids which enter the fumes hose from the crankcase, and a drain hose drains captured liquid back into the engine. A back flow preventor may be included to cooperate with the clean air hose to prevent a back flow of crankcase fumes through the clean air hose.

  • Publication number: 20090259005
Abstract: Monomer/solvent separation and recycle processes for continuous supercritical, solution and advanced solution polymerization processes for propylene-containing polymers and their blends are provided. The advantageous monomer/solvent separation and recycle process includes heating a polymer-lean recycle stream coming from a gravimetric separator positioned downstream of the reactor to form a heated polymer-lean recycle stream, and subsequently combining the heated polymer-lean recycle stream with the one or more homogenous reactor effluent streams to form a heated reactor effluent mixed stream. The heated reactor effluent mixed stream may then be passed through a pressure let-down valve followed and a gravimetric separator, such as to provide for reduced fouling propensity of the polymer-rich phase and sufficient heating of the polymer-rich phase to be able to pass through the remainder of the processing steps to form a propylene based polymer product without additional heat.

  • Patent number: 7503319
Abstract: An improved T fitting results in a more uniform flow of fumes from an engine crankcase. The T fitting combines flows from an air filter and a hose connected to the engine crankcase, into coaxial paths, and then combines the flows into a combined flow. The combined flow is drawn into an intake manifold by manifold vacuum. The combining of the flows through the coaxial paths results in a more uniform flow of fumes from the crankcase.
