  • Patent number: 11669993
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for determining position and pose of as well as tracking an object in a physical environment based on the emission and sensing of light signals. The derived position, pose and tracking information may be used in a VR/AR environment. The disclosed systems and methods allow for the improved tracking of both active and passive devices. In addition, the disclosed systems and methods enable an arbitrary number of light sensors to be disposed on an object, thereby increasing accuracy and mitigating the effects of occlusion of certain light sensors. Position and pose estimates may be refined and tracked using a filter lattice responsive to changes in observed system states and/or settings. Further, data received from an inertial measurement unit may be used to increase tracking accuracy as well as position and pose determination itself.

  • Patent number: 6209005
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatuses for attaching a letter to a contact in an organizer contact list. The method includes the operations of selecting a contact from the organizer contact list that is controlled by an organizer program. The method then stores a plurality of identifying information associated with the selected contact into a temporary memory location. Next, a letter is selected from a plurality of standard letters provided by the organizer. The plurality of identifying information associated with the selected contact is then integrated into the selected letter.

  • Patent number: 5825360
Abstract: A method for arranging windows in a workspace on a computer display screen. The method includes the steps of assigning, using a central processing unit, a priority to each of a first plurality of windows in the workspace according a predefined criteria, a selected window having the highest priority. The method further includes the step of indenting by an indentation distance value from a reference position in the workspace on the computer display screen each of the first plurality of windows, the window having the lowest priority being positioned the closest to the reference position, the window having the highest priority being positioned the furthest from the reference position and in the visual foreground of the workspace on the computer display screen.

  • Patent number: 5333375
Abstract: An apparatus and method for simultaneously mounting lead strip segments onto each side of a rectangular ceramic substrate. Four lead strip mounting assemblies are equally spaced 90 degrees apart around a central vertically oriented substrate support so that each assembly is perpendicular an edge of a substrate on the support. Lead strip feed assemblies located adjacent each mounting assemblies cuts lead strip segments and feeds the lead strip segments into the mounting assemblies. The four mounting assemblies simultaneously mount the lead strip segments on the substrate.
