A charging interface is coupled to the body and includes a biasing element and an electrical contact. The biasing element is configured to apply a force on the aerosol-generating device that causes an electrical contact of the aerosol-generating device to electrically engage the electrical contact of the charging interface when the aerosol-generating device rests on the charging unit.
