  • Publication number: 20260153299
Abstract: My invention pertains to firearms. It is an attachment for a bullpup rifle. The invention attaches to a bullpup rifle without making any permanent modifications to the rifle. It modifies the trajectory of ejected casings so that the casings travel away from the user to prevent injury. Prior art exists which can deflect casings, but those inventions either require permanent modification to the host firearm, increase potential to damage the host firearm, or are not securely affixed to the host firearm. My invention is new in that it can deflect casings without any of the aforementioned drawbacks of the prior art. It can also be easily repositioned to adjust the trajectory of the deflected casings.

  • Patent number: 11493306
Abstract: A firearm illuminator has a housing having a front portion, a rear portion, and an intermediate portion between the front and rear positions, a light source at the front portion, a power source at the rear portion, a power conductor interconnecting the light source and the power source and coextensive with the intermediate portion, and a weapon sight connected at the intermediate portion between the light source and the power source. the weapon sight may be a post sight. The weapon sight may be a front sight configured to register with a rear weapon sight. The weapon sight may be movable between a stowed position and an extended position. An indicating portion of the weapon sight extends above the housing when in the extended position. The housing may have an upper surface below a selected limit level. The weapon sight may be configured to extend above the limit level.

  • Patent number: 10641562
Abstract: Firearms with recoil mitigation have a frame with a connected slide, the slide configured to reciprocate relative to the frame along a slide reciprocation path, the slide having a ramp surface angularly offset from the slide reciprocation path by a first angle, a follower element connected to the frame and configured to reciprocate with respect to the frame along a follower path, the follower being biased toward the slide, and the follower having a slide contact portion configured to contact the ramp surface of the slide, such that reciprocation of the slide generates reciprocation of the follower element. The reciprocation of the slide may define a horizontal plane. The ramp surface may face downwardly and rearwardly. The slide may include a top panel and opposed downwardly-depending side panels each having lower edges. The ramp surface may be formed in a cutout above the lower edge of a side panel.

  • Patent number: 10551140
Abstract: Firearms with electronic ignitions have a frame defining an ammunition receptacle having an open lower end and a closed upper end and opposed lateral sidewalls, a plurality of barrels connected to the frame, each barrel having a rear end aperture providing communication with the ammunition receptacle, an ammunition cartridge adapted to be closely and removably received in the ammunition receptacle in an operation position between the opposed lateral sidewalls, the ammunition cartridge having a plurality of ammunition elements, and each ammunition element being registered with a corresponding one of the barrels. Each ammunition element may include a chamber tube element containing propellant and projectile. Each chamber tube element may include a pressure containment member adapted to contain pressures associated with discharge. Each barrel may define a barrel axis, and the barrel axes may be parallel to each other. The ammunition receptacle may be an elongated passage.
