  • Patent number: 10841713
Abstract: A computer-implemented method to integrate audiogram data into a device may include obtaining audiogram data including a first amplification value for each of multiple first frequencies. In some embodiments, the first amplification values may be configured to compensate for hearing loss of a user. The method may also include translating the audiogram data to amplification settings for multiple audio frequencies. A number of the multiple audio frequencies may be less than a number of the multiple first frequencies. The method may further include associating the amplification settings with a user profile of the user in a transcription system and directing the amplification settings from the transcription system to a device associated with the user profile. The method may also include applying the amplification settings to audio output by the device.

  • Publication number: 20080295678
Abstract: The improved perforation gun of the present invention includes an outer gun barrel, which is used in conjunction with an inner movable charge carrier or an inner movable sleeve to trap virtually all of the debris created by the firing of the perforation gun. This elimination of debris reduces costly operational problems in both gravel pack and horizontal well completions. It also improves the production from a perforated underground hydrocarbon bearing formation since there is no debris to potentially cause plugging in the well or subsequent production lines.

  • Patent number: 7441601
Abstract: An improved perforation gun includes an outer gun barrel, which is used in conjunction with an inner movable charge carrier or an inner movable sleeve to trap virtually all of the debris created by the firing of the perforation gun. The charge carrier has a plurality of explosive charges initially aligned with complementary, pre-existing holes in the wall of the charge carrier, which are initially aligned with complementary, pre-existing scalloped sections of the outer gun barrel.

  • Patent number: 6062310
Abstract: A tubing conveyed perforating apparatus is shown which includes a tubular assembly made up of a plurality of tubular sections. A plurality of explosive charges are located within the interior bore of at least two of the tubular sections of the tubular assembly. A firing head is carried on the tubular assembly for detonating the explosive charges to perforate a surrounding well bore. The firing head has a concentric detonator arrangement within a hollow central bore. The explosive charges are held within the interior bore of the tubular section by a support. The explosive charges and charge support are comprised of materials which disintegrate upon detonation of the explosive charges, whereby the interior bore of the tubular assembly is fully open after detonation.
