    Abstract: Compositions and methods for formulating acidizing treatment fluids comprising hydrofluoric acid are provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises: providing a treatment fluid comprising: an aqueous base fluid; at least one chelant; hydrofluoric acid; and at least one corrosion inhibitor; pumping the treatment fluid through a subsea riser system; and introducing the treatment fluid into a subterranean formation.
