Abstract: A bathing safety system and method is disclosed. The bathing safety system may include, for example, a first rod extending horizontally a length of a bathing enclosure; a second rod arranged vertically extending from a front edge of the bathing enclosure and having a first end adapted for engaging the first rod; a third rod arranged horizontally extending a width of the bathing enclosure and having a first end adapted for engaging the first rod; an attachment mechanism disposed at the front edge of the bathing enclosure and adapted for engaging a second end of the second rod; and a plurality of wall anchors securing first and second ends of the first rod to opposing walls, and for securing a second end of the third rod to another wall of the bathing enclosure.
