Patent number: 8393469Abstract: The present invention provides a reclosable consumable product package for retaining an array of products until the products are desired to be removed. The package includes a container packet formed of a planar extent roll for retaining and enclosing the array of products. A cover with adhesive attached thereto defined by an openable flap overlies the packet. The packet is scored along its surface in such a way that opening of the flap causes the packet to open along the scoring to expose the product for dispensing.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2009Date of Patent: March 12, 2013Assignee: Kraft Foods Global Brands LLCInventors: Allen Sydney Aldridge, Charles F. Publication number: 20120279989Abstract: A fluid dispensing assembly for use with mop-like devices. The assembly adapts to mop-like devices and utilizes a collapsible fluid reservoir pouch preferably contained within a substantially rigid housing. The collapsible fluid reservoir pouch permits fluid dispensing without need for venting. The assembly preferably utilizes one or the other of a fluid conducting needle and a venting needle found in a fluid disbursement fitment of commercially available mop-like devices, but the needles are not used to puncture membranes in a fluid reservoir. Rather, they provide mechanical force to actuate a valve that is used to permit flow of fluid from the fluid reservoir to the fluid disbursement fitment.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 7, 2012Publication date: November 8, 2012Applicant: QUICKIE MANUFACTURING CORPORATIONInventors: David R. Schiff, Mathieu D. Turpault, James S. Mandle, Jace A. Weaver, David Philip Birnbaum, Alex Sinton

Patent number: 6230931Abstract: A dispensing package for substantially flat items, such as razor blades, gum and mints. The dispensing package contains a hollow container having a slot on one side and a dispensing door on one end adjacent to the slot. An elevator is located within the track for supporting and lifting the confectionery items. An elevator button is located on one end of the elevator and protrudes through the slot to allow the user to manually raise the elevator and the items located thereon. On the inside of the package and adjacent to the slot is a ratcheting track which corresponds with ratcheting protrusions on the elevator button. The ratcheting track and ratcheting protrusions allow the elevator to move upward in a manner such that only one item at a time is dispensed. Upon the exertion of manual force to lift the elevator button in an upward direction, the elevator is raised via the ratcheting track and protrusions and the top item contacts and pushes open the dispensing door.Type: GrantFiled: July 30, 1999Date of Patent: May 15, 2001Assignee: Warner-Lambert CompanyInventors: James S. Patent number: 5988410Abstract: A display rack for displaying boxes, especially boxes containing a plurality of smaller product packages (such as mint packages), comprising a base and a stand having a plurality of openings. Swing arms with lock slots are adapted to extend from two opposing sides of the openings and engage with the product boxes being displayed. The swing arms are moveable inward and outward within a slot in the rack and are such that the arms may be either perpendicular to the vertical axis of the rack, when the arms are adjacent to the back of the rack, or tilted downward when the swing arms are distanced from the back of the rack. Consequently, the engaged product boxes may be located in a level position at the back of the rack (a position which is especially useful for loading, transport and storage) or they may be tipped in a downward position at the front of the rack to prominently display the product.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 1997Date of Patent: November 23, 1999Assignee: Warner-Lambert CompanyInventor: James S.
