  • Patent number: 4245760
Abstract: A container for holding and from which chemicals are capable of being selectively dispensed either by hand pouring or by means of a closed system, such container having a built-in probe assembly involving a recessed area in one wall, the recessed area having a central opening to receive a probe, and openings about said central opening, for discharge of the container contents when hand pouring, and a closure for sealing the recessed area for shipping of the container and its contents.

    Assignee: Terminator Products, Inc.
Inventors: James S. Stevenson, John J. Rodrigues
  • Patent number: 4186759
Abstract: A coupling head assembly for coupling a source container of chemical in a closed system, the assembly including a main passageway for flow of chemical from the container, an auxiliary passageway for rinsing the container when connected to a source of rinse liquid, and a second auxiliary passageway connectable to such source of rinse liquid for rinsing at least one flow line of the system to the exclusion of the container. A control device provides for performing each of the three functions. While withdrawing the chemical from the container, the control device informs the operator by a signal, of the functioning status of the coupling head assembly.

  • Patent number: 4161197
Abstract: The invention relates to apparatus for measuring and dispensing chemical, for use primarily in a closed system for preparation of chemical solutions or mixtures, and involves a container having an input passageway for connection to a source of chemical, and a discharge passageway for connection to a source of reduced pressure. The discharge passageway is normally blocked against discharge by a valve, but has communication with the upper region of the container, whereby, upon reducing the pressure at the discharge passageway, the pressure in the upper region of the container will likewise be reduced and cause an inflow of chemical into the measuring container. Upon subsequently lifting of the valve, means are provided for exposing the upper region to atmosphere pressure whereby, the contents of the container may discharge.

  • Patent number: 4091849
Abstract: Safe tank filling apparatus primarily for pesticide tank use, comprising a tank filling tube and a reverse flow prevention means associated therewith which includes a multiple valve assembly made up of a housing of three sections, two of which provide a flow through passageway to the filling tube and in which is located a one way valve assembly permitting flow through to the filling tube but not in reverse, and a vent valve assembly in the remaining housing section held in closed position in response to pressure within the housing, but openable in response to development of a partial vacuum condition within the housing.
