    Abstract: A technique for aligning a trailer hitch tube and a trailer hitch is disclosed. A device according to the technique includes a hitch stop. In one embodiment, the hitch stop is substantially square and hollow. The hitch stop can have a hole for a set screw. The hitch stop can be fastened to the trailer hitch tube by tightening the set screw while the hitch stop is on the trailer hitch tube.
