  • Publication number: 20230289793
Abstract: Systems, methods, and machine-executable data structures for the processing of data for the secure creation, administration, manipulation, processing, and storage of electronic data useful in the processing of electronic payment transactions and other secure data processes. Aspects of such systems include trusted platforms by which networked communication devices and merchant systems may be registered as trusted entities. Information associated with particular payment means, such as accounts or payment tokens, can be stored on device(s) secure data sets known as virtual or electronic wallets, or in the form of secure payment tokens. Common application programming interfaces executed by devices may facilitate push and pull processes between electronic wallets and other secure data stores. Users may thereby initiate and complete electronic transactions directly from within applications on trusted devices.

  • Patent number: 11728683
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for wireless charging are disclosed. A charging device has a plurality of charging cells provided on a charging surface, a charging circuit and a controller. The controller may be configured to cause the charging circuit to provide a charging current to a resonant circuit when a receiving device is placed on the charging surface, provide a measurement slot by causing the charging circuit to decrease or terminate the charging current for a period of time and determine whether the receiving device has been removed from the charging surface based on measurement of a characteristic of the resonant circuit during the measurement slot. The characteristic of the resonant circuit may be representative of electromagnetic coupling between a transmitting coil in the resonant circuit and a receiving coil in the receiving device.

  • Patent number: 11718320
Abstract: Systems and methods for using transmission sensor(s) in localization of an autonomous vehicle (“AV”) are described herein. Some implementations receive instance(s) of transmission sensor data generated by transmission sensor(s) of the AV, generate pose instance(s) of a pose of the AV based on the instance(s) of the transmission sensor data, and cause the AV to be controlled based on the pose instance(s). In some of those implementations, the pose instance(s) can be generated based on steering data the AV that indicates steering angle(s) of the autonomous, and that temporally correspond to the instance(s) of the transmission sensor data. In various implementations, the pose instance(s) may only be generated or utilized based on the instance(s) of the transmission sensor data (and optionally the steering data) in response to detecting an adverse event at the AV.

  • Publication number: 20230243425
Abstract: Embodiments of the inventive subject matter are directed to gaskets that can be used in various extreme settings including high temperature, vacuum, and high-pressure settings. Gaskets are made using soft annealed metals including aluminum, copper, nickel, and steel. Upon fully tightening a fitting using a gasket of the inventive subject matter, the gasket’s material is brought into a full hardness condition from its original soft annealed state. Ports that are designed for use with gaskets of the inventive subject matter is also disclosed. These ports include a first hole having a first diameter and then a second hole that continues from the first, where the second hole has a second, smaller diameter. Material transitions from the first diameter to the second diameter by a radial fillet. The filleted surface is configured to interact with a gasket of the inventive subject matter to minimize leak pathways.

  • Publication number: 20230215781
Abstract: Devices and methods for providing cooling to electronics equipment is provided herein. A cooling manifold includes a first substrate having a first hole. A layer of nano-particles is disposed between the first substrate and an electronics surface associated with the electronics equipment. The layer of nano-particles defines a seal between the first substrate and the electronics surface, and further defines a channel extending within the seal. After an application of heat, the layer of nano-particles forms the seal such that the device is fluid impermeable, so as to allow a coolant fluid to enter through the first hole to flow through the channel to reduce or remove the heat generated by the electronics equipment associated with the electronics surface.
