  • Patent number: 8037556
Abstract: A shower cubicle panel comprises a main panel element (14) of composite construction with at least two layers of different material, and means for interconnecting the cubicle panel (10) to an adjacent panel (10) and a shower tray (80). A connector for adjacent shower cubicle panels comprises a first part (36), a second part (38). The first part (36) has a first elongate channel portion (22b) for receiving an edge of a first shower cubicle panel, and a male connector portion (42). The second part (38) has a second elongate channel portion (22b) for receiving an edge of a second shower cubicle panel, and a female connector portion (50) substantially complementarily shaped to receive the male connector portion (42). A sealing element (40) is interposable between the first and second parts (36, 38) for preventing their disengagement.

  • Publication number: 20070022570
Abstract: A fully enclosed detent hinge mechanism for a foldable bathroom shower seat or other hinged device, comprising a hinge housing; a rotatable element rotatable received in the hinge housing and connectable or connected to a hingably movable part of the hinged device for angular displacement therewith; and a detent mechanism which releasably retains the hingably movable part of the hinged device when in a raised, condition. The detent mechanism includes a first detent part located on the hinge housing and a second detent part located on the rotatable element and which is cooperable with the first detent part to prevent or substantially prevent unintentional movement of the rotatable element in the hinge housing. One of the first and second detent parts includes an integrally formed cantilever arm which is cooperable with a remaining said one of the first and second detent parts to prevent or substantially prevent unintentional movement of the rotatable element in the hinge housing.

  • Patent number: 6036235
Abstract: The reusable coupling assembly of the present invention includes a receiving and an inserted section. The tubing engagement end of both the inserted and the receiving sections is constructed and arranged to securely fit around the resin liner in externally threaded fiberglass resin lined metal pipe or tubing with cement mortar backing. When the sections of externally threaded fiberglass resin lined pipe or tubing sections with cement mortar backing are put together utilizing and internally threaded coupling, the receiving and the inserted mating sections come together within a mastic material to prevent corrosive fluids flowing through the externally threaded metal tubing or pipe sections from damaging any exposed metal surfaces within the internally threaded coupling.

  • Patent number: 4276270
Abstract: In a multi-stage, multi-vessel phosphoric acid production system where a first reaction vessel contains a first slurry comprising calcium sulfate hemihydrate, monocalcium phosphate and phosphoric acid and a second reaction vessel contains a second slurry comprising calcium sulfate hemihydrate, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, in which the reaction slurry undergoes intra- and inter-vessel circulation, preferably through a draft tube, an improved start-up procedure involves filling the system with heated phosphoric acid having a P.sub.2 O.sub.5 analysis in the range of about 28 to about 38% (e.g. 31%), then feeding phosphate rock to the system, preferably in a separate reaction vessel, while phosphoric acid is recycled from a fourth, filter feed vessel, until the solids content in said slurry is in the range of 25-35% (e.g. about 30%) while the sulfate content in the first vessel is maintained at a negative level (e.g. excess calcium ion) and at a positive level in the second, crystallizer vessel.
