  • Publication number: 20220287490
Abstract: The present invention relates to a magnetic cup and beverage holder device. The holder device includes two magnets of opposing polarities, which allow an enclosed cup and/or beverage to remain stable and erect without spilling, even in a moving vehicle. The magnets are positioned within the base of the holder device, thereby creating a strong magnetic attractive force which stabilizes the enclosed cup and/or beverage. The holder device can either be used as an insert in a cup holder, or as a standalone device. The holder device prevents spilling and excess shaking of the beverage and eliminates loss of carbonation.

  • Patent number: 9970150
Abstract: A tie steaming device for steaming ties includes a housing that defines an interior space. A reservoir, a power module, a boiler and a pump are coupled to the housing and positioned in the interior space. The boiler and the pump are operationally coupled to the power module. The pump is fluidically coupled to the reservoir and the boiler. The device also comprises a shell that is hollow. The shell is fluidically couplable to the boiler. Each of a plurality of vents is positioned in the shell. The pump is positioned to transfer water from the reservoir to the boiler, such that the boiler converts the water to steam. The shell is configured for insertion into a user's tie to direct the steam through the vents to contact the tie.

  • Patent number: 6056193
Abstract: The present invention relates to a computer keyboard console with an integral encoded device reader, which may for example be a barcode reader, a magnetic card reader or a "smart card" reader or any generally similar device for reading encoded data, for example a personal identification number (PIN) held on the device which may be inserted into a slot defined by the console. The reader comprises an interface in communication with a dedicated microprocessor in communication with means for erasably storing or validating data such as security or user identity data, the keyboard matrix circuitry, and adapted to communicate with the host CPU via the standard keyboard port connection, and/or via a separate serial connection or interface. Preferably, separate reader interfaces are configured with the dedicated microprocessor to read a barcode device, a magnetic card device, or a smart card device.
