  • Patent number: 11253894
Abstract: A device for converting harmful waste products into environmentally friendly discharge is provided. The discharge, as a result of the waste destruction process, meets or exceeds the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards. The device includes a waste disposal chamber where a crucible is positioned. The crucible is configured to retain a removable basket that is heated via induction heating. The waste residing within the removable basket is then vaporized and ionized within a vacuum to form a waste gas that is drawn through an accelerated jet of thermal plasma via vacuum suction. Once the waste gas passes through the plasma, it passes through a discharge duct where it is condensed by a heat exchanger and exhausted into the environment surrounding the device.

  • Patent number: 10688543
Abstract: A device for the destruction of biohazardous waste converts harmful waste products into environmentally friendly discharge in compliance with environmental protection agency (EPA) standards. The device includes a waste disposal chamber where a crucible resides. The crucible contains a basket for holding the waste which is heated through induction coils that surround the crucible. The waste is vaporized and ionized in a vacuum forming a waste gas and drawn through a catalytic converter and a hot plasma jet via vacuum suction. The waste gas is then exhausted via a discharge duct where is it condensed by a heat exchanger further refining the waste gas into environmentally friendly molecules such as carbon dioxide. The waste destruction device further includes a programmable logic controller and user interface to control the device. Once the waste destruction process is completed, a compressor passes compressed air over the crucible to rapidly cool the crucible.

  • Patent number: 9975794
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for treating greywater from a microbial food decomposition process. A method includes flowing, into a mixing chamber of a water treatment tank, a first volume of untreated greywater. A second volume of recirculated greywater mixed with ozone gas is flowed into the mixing chamber, and mixes with the first volume of untreated greywater to produce a third volume. The third volume of greywater is flowed into a storage tank. The method further includes diverting a first portion of the third volume out of the water treatment tank, and diverting a second portion of the third volume into a recirculation line that flows the second portion back to the mixing chamber.

  • Patent number: 9492854
Abstract: A food waste management system includes a tank having an internal chamber for containing food waste and sufficient water for fully submersing the food waste. The system further includes a water supply system for supplying water to the internal chamber, a gas supply system for supplying a gas to the internal chamber, a discharge system for discharging water and food waste from the internal chamber, a grinder system for grinding the food waste, the grinder system being disposed in the internal chamber to be fully submersed in the water, a circulation system disposed in the internal chamber for circulating water and food waste and a control system for controlling operation of the food waste management system in accordance with a desired control process. The system further includes a nutrient additive to be supplied to the internal chamber in predetermined amounts at predetermined intervals.

  • Publication number: 20130011907
Abstract: A waste management system is provided comprising a container having an internal chamber having a waste inlet adapted for receiving a supply of organic waste. A dry mix is adapted to be disposed within the internal chamber, the dry mix containing a dry substrate having a moisture content of less than 50% by weight. In another embodiment the dry mix contains a mixture of a dry substrate adapted for absorbing moisture from organic waste and a nutrient additive adapted for aiding in the decomposition of organic waste. The system further includes a drying system adapted for generating an airflow within the internal chamber and a mixing system adapted for mixing the contents of the internal chamber. The system also includes a control system adapted for controlling operation of the waste management system in accordance with a desired control process.
