  • Publication number: 20220141186
Abstract: A security system obtains data logs from a set of security applications that each output data of different data types and in different formats. A filtering module obtains the data from the security applications as an input message stream and processes the into message stream into an output message stream with messages in a standardized format for processing by a security engine. The filtering module includes a set of filters each tailored to process data from a different data source. The filtering module detects the data source from analysis of the data and applies the corresponding filter to generate the output message stream. The security engine then detects patterns in the output data stream and provides alerts to an administrative interface when it detects a pattern indicative of malicious activity.

  • Publication number: 20220137245
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for seismic well tie domain conversion. In one embodiment, a process is provided to integrate well and seismic data for reservoir characterization. System configurations and processes described herein use neural networks to predict sonic well logs in the two way time (TWT) domain from measured well logs in depth, rather than predicting drift function. Embodiments are also directed to systems for reservoir characterization. Domain conversion of data includes receiving input data, preprocessing the data, and training a model to determine a length of an output sequence. The method also includes training the model for conversion of data based on at least one neural network. A sequence length prediction may be output as part of training and to perform modeling/prediction operations. The method also includes outputting sequence length in a TWT domain and output of transformed data.

  • Patent number: 11317466
Abstract: The technology provides a convenient and efficient way for business entities and other organizations to gather and transmit data from remotely located facilities without having to rely on satellite communication or specialized communication equipment. A geographically isolated facility may be used for manufacturing, warehousing, power generation, environmental monitoring, as well as other services. Information about the facility, its equipment and operation are transmitted to a back end system using high altitude platforms (HAPs). This provides opportunistic communication between remote facilities and the back-end system on an as-needed basis, for example based on bandwidth usage, peak/off-peak usage, etc. The HAPs may act as a store and forward service, or process received data before transmitting it to a ground station or the back end system. This approach allows an organization to periodically monitor its facilities, to determine equipment failure, resupply needs, and to assess the status of each facility.

  • Patent number: 11299405
Abstract: A purification apparatus includes a radio frequency (RF) signal source that generates an RF signal, first and second electrodes, and a conduit. The first electrode receives the RF signal and converts it into electromagnetic energy that is radiated by the first electrode. The conduit includes input and output ports and a chamber. The input and output ports are in fluid communication with the chamber, and the chamber is configured to receive an electrodeless bulb. The chamber is defined by first and second boundaries that are separated by a distance that is less than the wavelength of the RF signal so that the chamber is sub-resonant. The first electrode is physically positioned at the first boundary, and the second electrode is physically positioned at the second boundary. The first and second electrodes and the chamber form a structure that capacitively couples the electromagnetic energy into an electrodeless bulb within the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220051242
Abstract: Financing obtained from a lender may be processed by a retailer in a manner similar to a credit card. For example, transaction data associated with a transaction to acquire one or more items from the retailer may be entered at a point of sale terminal of the retailer. A request may be sent for a temporary shopping pass associated with an account of a consumer at the lender. The temporary shopping pass may be used as a virtual payment instrument to access financing (e.g., a loan, a lease, or a credit) provided by the lender. After receiving the temporary shopping pass, the shopping pass data included in the temporary shopping pass, such as a one-time card number, may be entered into the point of sale terminal. The transaction may be completed by processing the shopping pass data as a credit card type tender using the point of sale terminal.
