    Abstract: An autonomous lawnmower system includes a lawnmower capable of being operated in a non-autonomous mode and an autonomous mode. A global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is coupled with the lawnmower. A plurality of cameras and a mobile phone dock are coupled with the lawnmower as well. A drive-by-wire traction control system for controlling the lawnmower is provided as well as a navigation module, that is coupled with the lawnmower. Also, a mobile phone is included that controls and monitors the lawnmower when in the autonomous mode.
