Publication number: 20090327268Abstract: Systems and methods for providing immediate access to comprehensive information and answers on a set of related search engine results pages for common searches executed in the entertainment domain relating to, for instance, music, musicians, movies and celebrities. Upon receipt of a keyword-based search query, a decision is made regarding what the user actually wanted to see as a search result. This information is then automatically presented in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page, typically with links to more refined information. Upon selection of a link, the refined information is also displayed in a dedicated region of the keyword search results page. In this way, the user does not have to navigate multiple, different user interfaces on a variety of different web sites in order to view the information desired.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 27, 2008Publication date: December 31, 2009Applicant: MICROSOFT CORPORATIONInventors: JUSTIN DENNEY, CRISTINA A. Patent number: 7448252Abstract: A modular system for monitoring a hydrogen-cooled generator includes a skid having a platform, a support attachable to said platform and attachable to a plurality of modules for monitoring the hydrogen-cooled generator, and at least one module for monitoring the hydrogen-cooled generator. The module may include a vibration monitoring module. The monitoring modules may allow monitoring the operation of the hydrogen-cooled generator and generating data such as an optimization factor regarding the performance of the hydrogen-cooled generator. The module may be connected via a communications link to a remote control center.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2005Date of Patent: November 11, 2008Assignee: Environment One CorporationInventors: Ronald F. Patent number: 6743993Abstract: A key assembly including a key support structure, a switch, a base, and a moveable key. A light source, such as an LED, is mounted to the base to provide illumination for backlighting a translucent region disposed in the moveable key. In operation, when pressure is exerted against the moveable key, the moveable key axially translates to operate the switch. When the moveable key is in its at-rest position, light from the light source will be efficiently and uniformly dispersed through the key assembly to backlight the translucent region based on the location of said light source.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 2002Date of Patent: June 1, 2004Assignee: Advanced Input Devices, Inc.Inventors: James T. Clark, Aaron D. Johnson

Patent number: 5551327Abstract: Multiple saw blades in a gang rip saw apparatus and like multi-blade cutting apparatus may be selectively adjusted to differing spacings from one another by mounting a threaded sleeve on the rotary arbor of the apparatus and mounting a plurality of electric drive motors on the sleeve with the rotor of each drive motor threadedly engaged with the sleeve and the stator held fixed against rotation relative to the sleeve by longitudinal guide rods, which carry electrical supply wiring to the stators from a slip ring assembly. Each saw blade is affixed annularly to a respective one of the stators. Individual energization of each stator causes the respective rotor to drive the motor/blade assembly along the sleeve to a desired position relative to the other saw blade/motor assemblies. With the saw blade/motor assemblies selectively positioned at desired relative spacings, the arbor is driven to rotate the saw blade/drive motor assemblies integrally with the arbor for "gang" cutting operation in conventional manner.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 1994Date of Patent: September 3, 1996Inventors: William D. Hamby, James T. Clark

Patent number: 5524689Abstract: The invention is directed to a two panel drapery lining. Each panel includes a vertical hem formed by folding over one vertical edge of each panel and stitching along a vertical line so as to leave a channel formed between the hem and an opposing portion of the panel. The vertical stitching line includes a gap so as to leave an opening into the channel. A magnetic sealing strip removably is disposable within the channels by insertion into the channel through the opening. When the panels are overlapped, the inner vertical edges may be secured to each other by the magnetic sealing strips.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 1995Date of Patent: June 11, 1996Assignee: Rockland Industries, Inc.Inventor: James T.
