    Abstract: A dental instrument for performing a variety of procedures includes an elongate, rigid body and a bit. The body preferably includes an axial bore and at least one lateral bore. The axial bore holds the bit so that it extends outward along the longitudinal axis of the body. The lateral bore holds the bit so that it projects laterally outward at an acute angle to the longitudinal axis.
