  • Patent number: 9446372
Abstract: An apparatus for growing nano-clusters includes a pair of electrodes separated by an electrode pair spacing and a field generation module that generates a corona discharge across the electrodes. The corona discharge generates an electromagnetic field near the electrodes. A voltage potential across the electrodes is a medium voltage. The field generation module includes a medium voltage module that generates a medium voltage waveform, which is transmitted to the electrodes to generate the corona discharge. The field generation module includes a broad frequency generation module that generates a broad spectrum of frequencies within the medium voltage waveform. A raw material feeder module feeds particles of a raw material through the electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic field with the broad spectrum of frequencies is operative to separate at least a portion of the raw material fed through the electromagnetic field into free atoms.

  • Publication number: 20150265019
Abstract: A container for containing personal hygiene items includes a pair of mating clamshell halves coupled together to form a space inside when mated together. The container includes a tray shaped and sized to fit within the space and able to be disposed therein. The tray includes a top filling cavity bounded on a front-side by a cage wall extending below a bottom surface of the cavity such that the cage wall and the bottom surface of the cavity form an enclosed space together with an inside surface of one of the clamshell halves when the tray is disposed therein. The container includes an arm extending from the tray to a collar that is rotatably coupled about a hinge coupling the mating clamshell halves together. The container material includes anti-bacterial material. The container includes a fluid dispensing container disposed in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 6657316
Abstract: A window control system including at least one operator actuator and a housing, the operator actuator mounted and movable in the housing, and where the relative position of the operator actuator in the housing generates a position command signal to a window control circuit for moving the window in response to the position command.

  • Patent number: 6341218
Abstract: An adaptor for supporting and connecting a portable electronic device, such as a portable phone, computer or other wireless communication device. The adaptor includes a pocket member and an interface module. The portable phone mechanically and electrically connects to the pocket member, and the pocket member mechanically and electrically connects to the interface module. The mechanical and electrical connections between the pocket member and the interface module are common between any interface module and any pocket member. In contrast, the receiving section of the pocket member is varied between different pocket members to accommodate portable electronic devices having different physical constructions. The pocket member attaches to the interface module with a limited, one-dimensional movement of the pocket member relative to the interface module to optimize use of space, particularly in vehicles.

  • Patent number: 6073987
Abstract: A modular instrument panel assembly for a vehicle wherein the assembly includes a base module having a transverse vertical wall located between the occupant compartment and the forward compartment of the vehicle and a transverse horizontal plenum above the wall and acting with the wall to provide structural support. The assembly further includes an air distribution module having an air distribution plenum providing air outlets for selectively distributing air to the occupant compartment, where the plenum provides additional structural support. The two modules are secured to one another and when installed in a vehicle provide structural support for the vehicle body and further provide a separating barrier between the forward compartment and the occupant compartment.

  • Patent number: 6000951
Abstract: A connector for ribbon-to-wire conductors includes a clip for holding a ribbon conductor and a housing for retaining a series of wire conductors. To connect the system, a ribbon conductor containing exposed conductors on one surface of its free end is extended over the free end of an upper segment of the clip which is then inserted into the opening of the housing until a shoulder on the base of the clip engages the back wall of the housing locking the clip containing the ribbon conductor to the housing. In another embodiment of the electrical connecting system, a housing and a retainer snap together to sandwich exposed electrical contacts of two ribbon conductors and/or electrical surface contacts of a flexible or rigid circuit board. To connect the system, the ribbon conductors are placed over opposite ends of the circuit board to engage contacts thereon and the retainer is snapped to the housing.
