  • Publication number: 20210067544
Abstract: An embodiment of a feedback-based system and methods are disclosed for real-time mitigation of fraud and otherwise invalid traffic in a mobile ad environment. The system of three complementary facets of one embodiment comprises four major sub-systems: prevention, detection, control and reporting, which work in cohesion with one another to achieve the common goal of the system. In the embodiment, deterministic and probabilistic methods are applied across all levels of user engagement (impressions, clicks, installs, post-install events, and conversions) to detect the likely sources of invalid traffic and block them in real time. A distinctive and unifying feature of the embodiment of the system is the feedback loop that connects advanced analytics and machine learning techniques that the detection subsystem employs at all levels of user engagement to the real-time blocking mechanism of the prevention subsystem that operates at the initial levels of user engagements, such as clicks and impressions.

  • Publication number: 20200403951
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating and maintaining group messaging threads associated with ephemeral content. For instance, the disclosed systems can facilitate the creation of ephemeral content including a customizable group messaging graphical element associated with the ephemeral content the enables users to join a group messaging thread associated with the ephemeral content. In addition, the disclosed systems can generate user requests to join the group messaging thread based on user interaction with a group messaging graphical element within ephemeral content and can present the requests to the creator of the ephemeral content. Accordingly, in various embodiments, the disclosed systems can facilitate group messaging threads between creators of ephemeral content and users that view the ephemeral content via associated group messaging graphical elements.

  • Publication number: 20200398048
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices are provided which transmit energy to a body lumen or passageway in the form of pulsed electric fields (PEFs) and in a manner which provides focal therapy. In some embodiments, PEFs are delivered through independent electrically active electrodes of an energy delivery body, typically in a monopolar fashion. Such delivery concentrates the electrical energy over a smaller surface area, resulting in stronger effects than delivery through an electrode extending circumferentially around the lumen or passageway. It also forces the electrical energy to be delivered in a staged regional approach, mitigating the effect of preferential current pathways through the surrounding tissue. Focal delivery of PEFs can provide increased tissue lethality by employing precise timing and sequencing of energy delivery to the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 10839539
Abstract: An electronic device estimates a depth map of an environment based on stereo depth images captured by depth cameras having exposure times that are offset from each other in conjunction with illuminators pulsing illumination patterns into the environment. A processor of the electronic device matches small sections of the depth images from the cameras to each other and to corresponding patches of immediately preceding depth images (e.g., a spatio-temporal image patch “cube”). The processor computes a matching cost for each spatio-temporal image patch cube by converting each spatio-temporal image patch into binary codes and defining a cost function between two stereo image patches as the difference between the binary codes. The processor minimizes the matching cost to generate a disparity map, and optimizes the disparity map by rejecting outliers using a decision tree with learned pixel offsets and refining subpixels to generate a depth map of the environment.

  • Patent number: 10824226
Abstract: An electronic device estimates a pose of a face by fitting a generative face model mesh to a depth map based on vertices of the face model mesh that are estimated to be visible from the point of view of a depth camera. A face tracking module of the electronic device receives a depth image of a face from a depth camera and generates a depth map of the face based on the depth image. The face tracking module identifies a pose of the face by fitting a face model mesh to the pixels of a depth map that correspond to the vertices of the face model mesh that are estimated to be visible from the point of view of the depth camera.
