A web-site is suitably configured to provide for an on-line, interactive home improvement system. In this context, a home improvement system contemplates a system which enables an idea to be realized into a design and then information with respect to how to build the design, the materials needed to complete the project, and information on purchasing those materials provided to the user.

Abstract: A method and system for collecting and delivering information via a web-site on the Internet. The present invention collects information from consumers via an interactive web-site. The server system receives the collected information and uses it to build information specific messages or passes the collected information to another system or both. Alternatively, information specific messages may be built (created) off-line and delivered to the server system. In any event, such information specific messages may be delivered to the consumer in a variety of forms such as advertising banners, home improvement project design tips, product offers from third party businesses, or the like.
