Abstract: An improved cable molding product that can be easily installed to protect low voltage and line voltage electrical cables in new and existing building construction applications. Its primary benefits are found in decreasing the cost of installation procedures and improving the aesthetics of low voltage electronic system cable and lie voltage cable runs at exterior and interior openings in new and existing buildings. The two-part secure molding system is comprised of a base portion that is mounted for instance to an inside face of rectangular aluminum tubing or any interior wall. Low voltage wiring cable is placed into a rectangular base portion channel. The line voltage wiring is placed into the separate base portion channel. A rectangular cover snaps securely onto and over the base to conceal the cable and wire.

Abstract: A mullion is adapted for use in a narrow stile door system. The mullion is a three-section mullion with top and bottom hollow mullion tubes and an I-shaped centerpiece. The top and bottom hollow mullion tubes have a first outside width and first outside depth and a second inside width and second inside depth, the second inside width and depth defined by the inside of the hollow tube walls. The I-shaped centerpiece is connected to and fixed in between the top and bottom mullion tubes. The I-shaped centerpiece comprises a thin middle portion and top and bottom flanges, and top and bottom insert portions connected to the top and bottom flanges, and the top and bottom insert portions having a third width and third depth that are smaller than the second inside width and depth of the top and bottom hollow mullion tubes, with the insert portions adapted to be inserted into the hollow portion of the top and bottom mullion tubes and fixed therein.

Abstract: An adjustable mullion receptacle includes a two-sided safety block adapted to sit in the well portion of the mullion receptacle. A receiving block face side of the block is adapted to fit into the hollow bottom of a hollow mullion tube. The opposite side of the block defines a smooth safety face that can be used to set in the receptacle well when the mullion is removed for any purpose. The block then fills the well and provides a smooth surface over the receptacle well.

Abstract: A door frame assembly includes integral shim screws in the vertical jambs that facilitate installation of the assembly into a rough opening or doorway. The vertical frame jambs have one or more holes therethrough. Shim screws are positioned in those apertures and are adjustably extendable outwardly therefrom to engage a rough opening to assist in fixing the frame in that opening.

Abstract: A door mullion receptacle box assembly includes a toe plate, a channel box and block components. When a mullion is removed from a building/room opening, the toe plate may be fixed in the mullion receptacle box thus creating a uniform threshold across the width of the door openings. Using the assembly described herein, however, there are no large diameter holes in the top of the toe plate and no projections into the opening that could be a trip hazard. The present assembly replaces traditional fixed sill blocks mounted to the floor, or to the top of a threshold to anchor the bottom of conventional mullions. A typical mullion is locked in place with a lock at the top of the mullion. When installed, this mullion is placed over the sill block at the sill and tilted into place and locked into a header block at the top of the mullion.
