  • Publication number: 20250003827
Abstract: An edge device receives sensor data from a sensor affixed to a moveable gate. The edge device determines the positional state of the moveable gate based on the sensor data by inputting the received data into a machine learning model or by comparing the sensor data to values associated with a positional state through a calibration process. The edge device stores a log that associates the positional state and sensor data. The edge device determines the health state of the moveable gate using a machine learning model that is trained to predict, based on input of a new log, the health state of the gate. Responsive to determining that the health state of the gate is unhealthy, the edge device triggers a remedial action.

  • Patent number: 12139526
Abstract: Provided are chimeric receptors for engineering cells for adoptive therapy, including T cells, and the genetically engineered cells. In some embodiments, the chimeric receptors, such as chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) are modified in a junction region by one or more amino acid modifications such that peptide fragments of such region exhibit a lower binding affinity for a human leukocyte antigen (HLA) and/or the region exhibits reduced immunogenicity, including following administration to a subject. In some aspects, also provided are methods and compositions for engineering and producing cells expressing such chimeric receptors, compositions containing the cells, and method for their administration to subjects. In some embodiments, features of the chimeric receptors and engineered cells containing the chimeric receptors result in methods that provide for increased or improved activity, efficacy and/or persistence.

The assembly includes a piston with an outer piston surface, an inner piston cavity with an inner piston surface and at least one female thread, and proximal and distal piston ends. The plunger rod includes a rod body having proximal and distal rod ends, with a threaded extension extending distally from the distal rod end. The threaded extension extends distally along a distal length and threadedly engages the at least one female thread along a portion of the distal length. The threaded extension has a ventilation feature configured to create a ventilation space between the threaded extension and the inner piston surface. The proximal piston end and the distal rod end are in spaced relation to form a primary fluid passageway portion from outside of the plunger assembly into the piston cavity.

  • Patent number: 12070345
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for delivering images to a patient before and/or during a medical procedure in which a patient is translated on a table relative to a gantry. In various example embodiments, images are projected to the patient while preserving the projected field size during table motion, thereby potentially reducing patient anxiety by providing a more immersive patient viewing experience. In some embodiments, the projected field size is maintained by a display system that is secured to the table such that both a projector and a projection screen are fixed relative to the table, and relative to the patient, during translation of the table. In some example embodiments, a reduction in patient anxiety may be achieved by projecting images as virtual images that are perceived by the patient as residing at a depth that lies beyond the confined spatial region in which the patient resides.

  • Publication number: 20240255481
Abstract: A method for quantifying oceanic carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration is provided. The method includes obtaining a plurality of oceanic spatiotemporal carbon dioxide (CO2) measurements. A plurality of spatiotemporal chlorophyll a (Chl-a) and a plurality of oceanic temperature measurements are obtained. The obtained plurality of oceanic spatiotemporal CO2 measurements is mapped to the obtained plurality of spatiotemporal Chl-a and the plurality of oceanic temperature measurements in a multidimensional grid. • Patent number: 12011124
Abstract: The invention is for liners provided for use in a flush toilet with an interior. The liners are configured to fit within the interior area of the toilet bowl to contact an upper surface of the toilet water. The liners prevent soiling of the interior of the toilet bowl and facilitate the efficient removal and flushing of human waste. The liner acts as a barrier between the toilet bowl and wastewater, whereby the liner can then be flushed along with the contents of the bowl, thereby extending the period between necessary cleanings.

  • Publication number: 20240142553
Abstract: An electromagnetically shielded electronic assembly is disclosed in which electromagnetic shielding and filtering is provided to prevent unwanted radiofrequency energy, generated from an electric device residing within the assembly, from radiating externally. The electronic device resides within a primary shielded region and is coupled, through a filter, to an external electrical conductor that extends externally from the shielding. The filter resides within a secondary shielded region that is electromagnetically shielded from the primary shielded region, with the filter electrically contacting the electromagnetic shielding within the secondary shielding region.
