  • Publication number: 20060035394
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing semiconductor devices, a method for manufacturing an integrated circuit, and a method for improving a drive current for semiconductor devices on a wafer-by-wafer basis. The method for manufacturing semiconductor devices, among other elements, includes patterning gate structures on a substrate (220), each of the gate structures having a profile associated therewith, and obtaining information representative of the profiles of the gate structures (240). In accordance with the present invention the information may then be fed forward to alter a manufacturing parameter associated with a drive current of the semiconductor devices (250).

  • Publication number: 20050076013
Abstract: Context-based contact information retrieval systems and methods that automatically extract contact information from a user's context, allow a user to capture, reuse and share personal and organizational contacts in the form of a business card or an audio/video recording, as desired. In various embodiments, contacts are retrieved based on the user's context and are presented in a manner that does not disrupt the user's current task. In various embodiments, the user accesses the details of the contacts with a single interaction. In various embodiments, the systems and methods monitor the user's current context and check for matches. The systems and methods then assign a score to each match and unobtrusively present at least some of the matches to the user based on the assigned score.

  • Patent number: 6495846
Abstract: The present invention is a nuclear waste storage apparatus and a method of filling the storage apparatus while the storage apparatus remains substantially sealed. The innermost layer of the apparatus comprises a self-sealing bladder. An injection device pierces the bladder and fills it with radioactive waste in a liquid, slurry or paste form in a substantially sealed process. When the injector is removed, the self-sealing material of the inner bladder substantially closes the pierced portion of the bladder. The bladder is then coated with a protective coating, a radioactive barrier coating, and an outer impact resistant coating to complete the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 5957644
Abstract: The present invention is an insert to be embedded in concrete for securing an object to a concrete surface. The insert comprises a u-shaped body having a bridge connecting two legs, each leg terminating in a flange. The body provides a flow passage in each leg for allowing the concrete to flow through the legs. Also, the legs are substantially planer and each leg has a rib portion that extends from the plane to provide added strength. The body further comprises a seam joining the bridge to each leg, and the seam is provided with a reinforcing notch. Similarly, a seam joins each leg to each flange, and the seam also has a reinforcing notch.
