    Abstract: A feeder tray for baby chicks comprises a peck-disintegratable bio-degradable fiber receptacle. The receptacle is adapted to be completely disintegratable into tiny particles by the end of the brooding period from the pecking of the chicks so that the tiny particles will substantially decompose on site, thereby eliminating the necessity to remove and dispose of a feeder tray after the chicks have outgrown the need for a feeder tray.
