  • Patent number: 11664847
Abstract: An electric filtering device (200) for filtering Repetitive Electrical Impulse Noise (REIN) in a fixed-access telecommunications network (100), the electric filtering device comprising: a REIN filter (210), said REIN filter comprising a first electrical contact (220-1) and a second electrical contact (220-2) for connecting to a telecommunications cable (140) of the fixed-access telecommunications network; an enclosure (230) for enclosing the REIN filter; an input (250-1) and an output (250-2), formed as part of the enclosure, each for receiving a telecommunications cable (140) so as to be connected to the first and the second electrical contacts, thereby to connect the REIN filter to the fixed-access telecommunications network; a coupling formation (260) for coupling the electric filtering device to an external distribution point (130) for a telecommunications cable of the fixed-access telecommunications network.

  • Publication number: 20220331459
Abstract: A method of distributing microparticles is provided, the method comprising: providing a plurality of microparticles at an insertion site in a medium; applying ultrasound to the insertion site that generates gas bubbles by cavitation at cavitation nuclei located at the insertion site and drives movement of the gas bubbles such that the gas bubbles drive movement of the microparticles into a desired spatial distribution in the tumour. The method may be a method of treating a tumour, and the microparticles may comprise a radioisotope for treating the tumour. Microparticles for use in the treatment of a tumour by the method are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220007865
Abstract: A drinkware with integrated infuser holder is an apparatus that is used to retain drink infusers in the bottom of the drinkware. The apparatus may include a drinkware body and an elongated holder. The drinkware body holds the liquids to be infused and facilitates the consumption of the infused drink. The elongated holder retains the infuser during the steeping process and during the consumption of the infused drink. The drinkware body may include a body base and a tubular lateral wall. The body base corresponds to the flat portion of the drinkware body that enables the drinkware body to be placed on a surface. The tubular lateral wall corresponds to the walls of the drinkware body that retain the liquids within the drinkware body. The apparatus may also include at least one eyelet on the elongated holder through which the infuser or other ingredients can be inserted and retained.

  • Publication number: 20110008802
Abstract: TNF? gene expression can be used as a biomarker of a cell's sensitivity to antagonists of inhibitor of apoptosis proteins (IAPs). Methods of the invention are useful for screening patients to identify those who could benefit from administration of an IAP antagonist to treat various malignant or benign tumors, benign proliferative diseases, or autoimmune diseases.
