According to one approach, a hands free device holder is provided having a pliable lanyard; a clamping assembly configured to releaseably hold a device; and a mount to releaseably attach the lanyard and to releaseably mount the clamping assembly. In one embodiment the lanyard is a series of at least three sections being connectable to each other and the mount.
