Abstract: Apparatuses, systems and methods for monitoring and/or controlling treatment of aqueous systems including water cooling systems are provided. The present invention includes a self-contained treatment unit for controllably bleeding water from an aqueous system and delivering treatment agents, such as inhibitor agents and/or anti-biofouling agents, to treat conditions, such as scale, corrosion, biofouling or the like within the aqueous system.

Abstract: A modular ink circulation system for effecting ink flow, in a continuous ink jet printer, from the ink reservoir to the print head and from the print head back to the reservoir. The system comprises, e.g.: (i) an ink supply module including pump, heater and filter that are removable from the printer as a unit; (ii) an ink return module including a pressure transducer, an ink defoaming reservoir and an ink flow-control solenoid that are removable from the printer as a unit; and (iii) a vacuum module including an air pump, an air pressure regulator and an ink collector reservoir that are removable from the printer as a unit.

Abstract: This invention relates to a method of inhibiting the deposition of scale and sludge in aqueous systems by incorporating into the water effective amounts of a scale inhibiting compound, i.e. 2-phosphonobutane-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid, and a dispersing amount of a polymeric sludge conditioner comprising one or more substantially water soluble polymeric dispersants such as the acrylic acid polymers.
