  • Publication number: 20240074665
Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing defining an internal volume, a front opening, and a rear opening. The electronic device can include a display component disposed at the front opening and a rear cover disposed at the rear opening. A logic board can be disposed in the internal volume. The device can also include a thin film thermopile including a cold junction bonded to the logic board and a hot junction bonded to the rear cover.

  • Patent number: 10961010
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a tray endowed with an improved rigidity and resistance to deformation and bending. The tray comprises a plurality of primary sidewalls and a plurality of chamfered corners having a corner secondary sidewall integrally formed with and extending from the base, wherein the primary sidewalls and corner secondary sidewalls define a product receiving cavity. The tray further includes a plurality of ribs integrally formed with and extending downwardly from the base, and a plurality of channels positioned between and separating adjacent ribs, wherein each channel is substantially perpendicular to a corner secondary side wall.

  • Publication number: 20180222161
Abstract: The present invention is directed to rigid or semi-rigid trays having a bulk layer comprising a crystalline aromatic polyester and a capping layer which is in direct contact with the bulk layer. The capping layer comprises a copolymer having a first structural repeating unit of ethylene and a second structural repeating unit selected from the following: (i) an acrylate-based moiety: fit) at least 12% by weight relative to the total weight of the copolymer of vinyl acetate; and (iii) an anhydride or carboxylic acid. It has been discovered that the bulk layer and the capping layer of the present invention can be readily co-extruded together and have sufficient bond strength to each other despite their chemical dissimilarity. In some preferred embodiments, the capping layer acts as a heat seal layer and is formulated to heat seal to conventional polyolefin-based lidstock.

  • Patent number: 4765511
Abstract: A captive closure with puncture means specifically designed as a replacement captive closure for liquid containing containers. The novel captive closure has a puncture means which allows it to puncture any sealing membrane over the pouring orifice of a container filled with distillates and the like and allows, by rotating one of its members relative to the other, a fluid flow communication through the closure so as to allow fluids to flow from the container out. Preferably the captive closure also includes a flexible pipe as part of the fluid conveying channel allowing fluid flowing from the container to be more readily poured into a destined reservoir or the like.

  • Patent number: 4601250
Abstract: A rotary loop taker which includes a replaceable loop seizing point mounted on a substantially annular frame, for use in a lock-stitch sewing machine. The loop seizing point has a supporting lug that extends downwardly from immediately behind the base portion of the tapered forward end of the loop seizing point. The supporting lug forms a smoothly curved junction with the base portion of the tapered forward end of the loop seizing point. The rearwardmost position on the smoothly curved junction to which said needle thread loop is pulled by the rotating loop taker lies a first distance from the nearest point on the crack formed by the supporting lug and the wall of the annular frame against which the lug abuts that is sufficient to produce a second distance measured normal to the taut needle thread loop that will avoid snagging the needle thread in the crack just referred to during operation of the sewing machine.
