    Abstract: A combination of metal catalysts are independently introduced to a fuel oil to enhance and improve the combustibility of the fuel oil and to adjust in real time the ratio of the metal catalyst mixture to the quality and/or quantity of the fuel oil. This combination of ionic metal catalysts may also be utilized to improve a low grade fuel oil to a higher grade fuel source while reducing the pollutants and minimizing the fuel related damage potential to the engine. The primary combination of metals includes Platinum, Indium, Rhodium, Aluminum and Rhenium in an adjustable ratio, with the ratio being variable depending on the fuel source and quantity. Chemicals and catalysts selected are utilized as molecular ions whose decomposition results in the form most effective to combustion.

    Abstract: A delivery system for generating a sparging gas containing catalyst particles and delivering them to a flame zone of a combustion reaction is disclosed. A catalyst mixture receptacle for the delivery system includes a floating ball check valve on an air inlet to an inlet tube of the receptacle which is spaced from a vertical wall of the receptacle. A secondary splash chamber having an opening smaller than the body of the chamber is also included between the main body of the receptacle and the sparging gas outlet for the receptacle to reduce the opportunity for catalyst mixture in liquid form to reach the sparging gas outlet. An enrichment circuit is disclosed including a controller, pump, and a one-way check valve for adding additional sparging gas to a flame zone of a combustion process in times of added load. The receptacle may be mounted with a vibrator, such as the pump, to increase the consistency of the bubbles in the sparging process.

The catalyst composition comprises at least one compound having one of a group III, group IIA or Lanthanide element such as, for example, Aluminum, Magnesium or Cesium, and at least one compound having at least one element selected from group IA, group IVA, group VI, group VII, group VIII, group IB, group IIB, and combinations thereof, such as, for example platinum, rhodium and rhenium. A method for oxidizing an fuel, the method comprising providing a fuel and a catalyst mixture; transporting the fuel and the catalyst to the flame zone separately; mixing the fuel and the catalyst; and oxidizing the fuel. The method and catalyst mixture may be used for oxidation of any hydrocarbon based fuel. Improved results from the use of the group III, group IIA or Lanthanide group element include increased power, reduced harmful emissions, and smoother oxidation process.
