  • Patent number: 7098270
Abstract: A fluoroelastomer composition contains a peroxide-curable solid fluoroelastomer and a peroxide curative agent combined therewith, and, a bisphenol-curable liquid fluoroelastomer and a bisphenol curative agent combined therewith. The solid fluoroelastomer/peroxide curative when combined with the liquid fluoroelastomer/bisphenol curative results in a composition exhibiting improved polymeric properties including improved flowability at room temperature and improved fluid resistance and sealability at a wide range of temperatures.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 10, 2002
Date of Patent: August 29, 2006
    Assignee: Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership
Inventors: Paul J. Hochgesang, James W. Jacks
  • Patent number: 6842535
Abstract: An imaging system is provided where radiation from object space (2) is incident on an array of detector elements (8) via an interferometer (3), the interferometer (3) Being scanned such that the output of each pixel comprises an interferogram B generated from the radiation received from a corresponding region of object space (2), enabling image data to be generated in dependence on the output of the pixels, which image data is derived from the spectral radiance associated with each pixel.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 27, 2000
Date of Patent: January 11, 2005
    Assignee: BAE Systems Avionics Limited

  • Patent number: 5753718
Abstract: A fluoroelastomer polymer foam having a compression set value in the range of from about 8.3% to about 43% and closed cell microvoids having diameters of from about 0.002 mm to about 0.048 mm or less, and a method for foaming a fluoroelastomer polymer comprising the steps of dispersing in a fluoroelastomer polymer to be foamed a phenol-based blowing agent to produce a foaming formulation and curing the formulation at a temperature of from about 250.degree. F. (121.degree. C.) to about 450.degree. F. (232.degree. C.) and a pressure of from about ambient to about 3.0 atm.
