  • Patent number: 7626737
Abstract: Wide format multiple ROB assembly. Raster Output Bar assembly comprises one or more individual image bars mounted onto their own sub-assemblies. Wide format ROB is assembled at the factory onto a datum structure from individual sub-assemblies staggered to achieve a desired wide format. The sub-assemblies are adjustably positioned on the datum structure based on the datums obtained off of the individual image bars. No further in-machine adjustments are needed in the field.

  • Patent number: 7141776
Abstract: An integrated imaging bar assembly. The single-assembly scan and imaging head comprises two sub-assemblies, one having a raster input bar and the other a raster output bar including their respective lens array systems. Each sub-assembly has a heat sink attached to its respective bar and the sub-assemblies are conjoined at a heat shield that separates them from each other while forming a single integrated imaging bar assembly.

  • Patent number: 5953558
Abstract: An imaging module mounting structure is used for mounting an imaging module to an imaging device that has a support member and a rotatable photoreceptor. The imaging module includes an imaging bar and a corona generating device. The imaging module mounting structure includes a pair of pivot block devices which are pivotably connected to the support member in a spaced apart relationship. The imaging bar and the corona generating device are secured to each one of the pair of pivot block devices. Each pivot block device includes a cam follower element. The pair of pivot block devices are operative to flex independently of one another while the photoreceptor rotates so that the respective cam follower elements remain in contact with the rotating photoreceptor to compensate for photoreceptor run out. A method for practicing the present invention is also described.

  • Patent number: 4345613
Abstract: An apparatus for removing concentrations of liquid from a natural gas pipeline comprising a tap valve mounted on the pipeline at the upper portion thereof so as to be in communication with the interior of the pipeline. A siphon apparatus is removably mounted on the tap valve and includes a siphon pipe which is vertically movably mounted with respect to the tap valve. The siphon pipe is vertically movable from an upper position wherein the lower end of the siphon pipe is positioned above the tap valve to a lower position wherein the siphon pipe extends through the tap valve so that the lower end of the siphon pipe is positioned at the bottom interior of the pipeline. A discharge pipe extends from the siphon pipe and is in communication with a liquid holding tank. A siphon valve is imposed in the discharge pipe to permit the selective removal of the liquid from the pipeline. A portion of the siphon pipe is enclosed by an operating cylinder barrel.

  • Patent number: 4017067
Abstract: In an electrostatographic copier wherein the fuser rolls are positioned closer than the dimensions of the copy sheet from the image transfer area, speed mismatch compensation between the fuser roll nip and the initial image support surface is provided by intentionally driving the fuser roll nip at a different pre-set velocity to form a buckle in the intermediate portion of the copy sheet controlled by selective cyclic reductions in the vacuum applied to a vacuum chamber sheet guide surface between the fuser nip and the initial image support surface, wherein the vacuum guide is in two areas, one of which is provided with a vacuum by the other, but is cyclically atmospherically vented.
