Abstract: Provided are non-naturally occurring polynucleotide sequences that encode for polypeptides useful in ergoline biosynthesis, as well as the non-naturally occurring polypeptide sequences. Also provided are recombinant host cell and methods for microbial biosynthesis of an ergoline, or a precursor or metabolite thereof, using the recombinant host cell.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enterprise type pretrained models for voice interfaces include the generation and validation of enterprise type pretrained models utilizing input associated with the enterprise type at issue. Once generated and validated, when a user command is received, the speech processing system may check to determine if a customized model is available, and if not, may query the enterprise type model to provide a response to the user command.

Abstract: A vacuum bag having an expandable pleat is provided. The vacuum bag includes a first surface region, a second surface region, and a third surface region between the first and second surface regions. The third surface region can be folded to bring the first surface region into proximity of the second surface region. The vacuum bag also includes a strip having a first attaching region at a first end of the strip, a second attaching region at a second end of the strip opposite the first end, and a central region between the first and second attaching regions. The first attaching region is fixed to the first surface region, and the second attaching region is fixed to the second surface region such that when the central region of the strip is in a non-expanded state, the first surface region is contiguous to the second surface region.

Abstract: A quick-attachment system may be used for attaching an agricultural planter to a strip till. A frame is initially installed on a strip till and may remain permanently attached to the strip till so that the strip till may be separately used in normal operation with the frame attached but without a planter attached. For combination tilling and planting operations, a planter may be attached by completing a three-point hitch attachment to the frame so that a tractor may be used to pull the combination of strip till and planter. Hydraulic cylinders connected to the frame and to the planter may be used to lift and lower the planter relative to the strip till.

Abstract: A string bender mechanism for a string musical instrument having a bender assembly comprising a control member and at least two bender levers. The control member moving between a first position and at least a second position, being a rest and active position, respectively. The at least two bender levers have a first end and a second end. The first end of said bender lever is dimensioned or adjacent to the control member and the second end of the bender lever receives a string. When the control member is in the first position, the bender levers are at rest and a tone emanates from a plucked string. When the control member is in the second position, the bender levers move simultaneously, and a varied tone emanates from a plucked string. In an alternative embodiment, one or more bender levers may be replaced with a switcher assembly.

Abstract: A method of detecting the presence or absence of a sealant applied to a textile graft includes the steps of: providing a textile graft having a first surface and an opposed second surface; providing a water soluble masking agent; applying the water soluble masking agent to at least a portion of the first surface of the textile graft; providing a sealant solution; providing a visual indicator; applying the water insoluble sealing agent and the visual indicator to the second surface of the textile graft; and removing the water soluble masking agent after the step of applying sealing solution. The second surface has visual indication of the visual indicator and the first surface is substantially free of visual indication of the visual indicator. An implantable textile graft includes the selectively applied visual indicator.

Abstract: An improved trailer hitch is presented. The tractor trailer has a main trailer frame, the main trailer for hauling cargo. To help couple a trailer cab to the trailer frame a swivel box having a spring-loaded locking pin and a permanent hinge pin is coupled to a tongue that is used to couple the trailer cab and the trailer frame. The swivel box swivels or swings the tongue to a position to accommodate a misaligned trailer cab easing the coupling process.

Abstract: Machine vision technology can be used to predict a property of a product generated by a chemical process. The prediction can be based on an analytical characterization of the chemical process or the product generated by the chemical process with a detector that generates series data. The series data can be converted to an image and input to an artificial neural network (ANN) trained to predict the property of the product based on the image. A prediction of a property of the product can be received from the ANN and used to adjust the chemical process or to determine whether to reject the product.

Abstract: An insensitive munition initiation canister includes a first cylindrical body having an external surface, which includes a first set of threads arranged circumferentially around the first cylindrical body, and a second cylindrical body connected to the first cylindrical body including an external surface having a second set of threads arranged circumferentially around the second cylindrical body. The first cylindrical body includes a first internal region set to retain an explosive charge having a detonation capability sufficient to detonate an insensitive munition. The first cylindrical body is set to sit inside a munition fuze well. The threads of the first cylindrical body are set to engage the munition fuze well.

Abstract: An integrated circuit package may be fabricated by disposing an underfill material between an electronic substrate and an integrated circuit device through an opening in the electronic substrate. In one embodiment, an integrated circuit assembly may include an electronic substrate having a first surface and an opposing second surface, wherein the electronic substrate includes at least one opening extending from the first surface to the second surface. The integrated circuit assembly may further include an integrated circuit device, wherein the integrated circuit device is electrically attached to the electronic substrate with at least one interconnect, and an underfill material may be disposed between the first surface of the electronic substrate and the integrated circuit device, wherein a portion of the underfill material extends into the opening in the electronic substrate.

Abstract: Protective barriers for protecting assets (e.g., electrical power transformers and other substation components). The protective barrier may include a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion may include first and second laterally spaced A-frame structures having a first protective member assembly extending between aligned legs of the respective A-frame structures on one side thereof. The first protective member assembly may include a first plurality of substantially horizontally extending protective members oriented at an angle relative to a horizontal plane. The first and second A-frame structures may have a second protective member assembly extending between aligned legs of the respective A-frame structures on an opposing side thereof. The upper portion may comprise a third protective member assembly. Methods of making a protective barrier are also disclosed.

The media application service is configured to consider usage data related to media content playback by a user on one or more devices, a connectivity profile of the mobile device, and to generate a list of media content to cache on the mobile device when power and network connectivity requirements of the mobile device are met or exceeded.

Abstract: A system and method includes reception of a hemodynamic signal, reception of a cardiac impedance signal, identification of a first peak and a second peak of the cardiac impedance signal, identification of a first portion of the hemodynamic signal based on the first peak and a second portion of the hemodynamic signal based on the second peak, and calculation of a cardiac characteristic based on the first portion and the second portion of the hemodynamic signal.

Abstract: An apparatus for lifting a buried explosive device includes a T-shaped base including a flange member and a web member. The web member has one end fixed at a right angle to the midpoint of the flange member. A vertical upright member is fixed at one end to the midpoint of the flange member. A diagonal member is fixed at one end to the other end of the vertical upright member and fixed at another end to a second end of the web member that is distal the flange member. The vertical upright member is at least twice a length of the web member. The flange member, the web member, the vertical upright member and the diagonal member are L-channel members made of carbon fiber.
