  • Publication number: 20250113348
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an open distributed unit (O-DU) may generate a unique group identifier (ID) for each user group of one or more user groups, each user group including a group of user equipments (UEs) that share time-frequency resources in a slot but occupy different spatial layers. The O-DU may transmit one or more messages to an open radio unit (O-RU), each message associated with a respective user group including a group ID for the respective user group. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 12229797
Abstract: A system and method for processing promotions in connection with digital purchasing. Data associated with a digital purchase request made by a consumer (the data comprising a token, an amount associated with the transaction, a promotional code for each item included in the digital purchase request associated with a promotion, a default transaction amount, and a single default promotional code) is received from a merchant server. The single default promotional code is assigned to all items included in the digital purchase request that are associated with promotions. Using the token, account information associated with the consumer is retrieved from a database. For each promotional code received, promotional information is retrieved. The retrieved promotional information is displayed. The digital purchase request is submitted for processing using the single default promotional code.

  • Publication number: 20240360020
Abstract: Methods and equipment of this invention enable small scale animal farming operations to substantially all or nearly all the recoverable value from their manure streams at a cost suitable for such smaller scale operations. The invention gives small scale animal farming operations the opportunity to obtain manure recovery benefits typically obtainable only in animal farming operations having high animal populations. The recovery is in forms that are both useable, readily monetized, environmentally sustainable, and cost effective. Much of the recovered material can find use back within the processing steps of invention thereby increasing the value of the recovered residual materials.

  • Patent number: 12127535
Abstract: A method for external fish parasites, such as sea lice, monitoring in aquaculture, comprising the steps of: —submerging a camera (52) in a sea pen (40) comprising fish (72, 74); —capturing images of the fish (72, 74) with the camera (52); and —identifying external fish parasites such as sea lice on the fish (72, 74) by analyzing the captured images, characterized by the steps of: —distinguishing between at least two different classes of external fish parasites such as sea lice which differ in the difficulty of recognizing the external fish parasites such as sea lice; —calculating quality metrics for each captured image, the quality metrics permitting to identify the classes of external fish parasites such as sea lice for which the quality of the image is sufficient for sea lice detection; and —establishing separate detection rates for each class of sea lice, each detection rate being based only on images the quality of which, as described by the quality metrics, was sufficient for detecting external fish para

  • Publication number: 20240239644
Abstract: The adapter of the present disclosure includes a circuit board with a processor and a switch thereon and a reader or transceiver connected to the board. With the adapter, a technician can retrofit an existing beverage machine to upgrade the dispensing and payment systems associated therewith. Existing beverage machines include a locking circuit that is key-enabled. This circuit allows an owner or technician to selectively allow and prevent beverage and/or ice from being dispensed. A technician can install the adapter of the present disclosure into the existing locking circuit. The board and transceiver of the adapter will detect when a user is authorized to obtain beverages, and close the circuit to enable this. To dispense beverage and/or ice, a user will present a valid credential to the board and transceiver. When no authorized user provides a valid credential, no beverage can be dispensed. The adapter can use a number of communication technologies to determine authorization.

  • Patent number: 12010007
Abstract: Usually agents probe other agents across the network to determine the network health. If network data from noisy agents (i.e., agents themselves causing the high latency) is used, it degrades the overall probe statistics. Thus, agents can be identified as noisy and then data from such noisy agents can be excluded from further consideration, thereby improving the quality of the active monitoring dataset. An algorithm executing on a centralized server computer uses a sample of active monitoring probe data. A first part of the algorithm involves determining the expected latency for a probe. The second part of the algorithm uses the information about the expected latency for a probe to compute a fraction of an agent's probes that have anomalous latencies using the original (full) data set. Agents with large fractions of anomalous probes receive high noise scores in the algorithm and are filtered.

  • Patent number: 11782178
Abstract: The present invention concerns a system for marine seismographic data acquisition, in particular for use in survey design. The invention provides a method for marine seismographic acquisition whereby subsea data and information can be collected using sea floor receivers and suspended receivers simultaneously. This is achieved by aligning the geometries of the two acquisition techniques and utilizing a system of wide-towed seismic sources that produce seismic energy on all the source point locations required to fulfil both acquisition methods.
