  • Publication number: 20240126038
Abstract: A panel system includes a chassis holding one or more tray arrangements, which are each configured to receive one or more cassettes at two or more bays. The tray arrangements and cassettes cooperate to define a cassette sensor arrangement and a port occupancy sensor arrangement having separate interface points. The cassette sensor arrangement may include electronic memory storing physical layer information about the cassette. All active components of the port occupancy sensor arrangement are disposed on the tray while the electronic memories of the cassette sensor arrangement are stored on the cassettes.

  • Publication number: 20240085364
Abstract: A method for determining a health indicator parameter of a fluid are described. The method can include contacting at least one first functionalized electrode included in a plurality of functionalized electrodes of a sensing unit with a fluid. The method can also include generating a first electrical signal within the fluid by the at least one first functionalized electrode. The method can further include receiving, by at least one second functionalized electrode included in the plurality of functionalized electrodes of the sensing unit, a second electrical signal in response to the first electrical signal. The sensing unit can determine a health indicator parameter of the fluid based on the second electrical signal. The health indicator parameter can be associated with an electrochemical response signal included in the second electrical signal. The sensing unit can provide the health indicator parameter to a computing device communicably coupled to the sensing unit.

  • Publication number: 20240073106
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for managing aspects of identifying and/or deploying hardware of a dedicated cloud to be hosted at a customer location (a “DRCC”). A DRCC may comprise cloud infrastructure components provided by a cloud provider but hosted by computing devices located at the customer's (a “cloud owner's”) location. Services of the central cloud-computing environment may be similarly executed at the DRCC. A number of user interfaces may be hosted within the central cloud-computing. These interfaces may be used to track deployment and region data of the DRCC. A deployment state may be transitioned from a first state to a second state based at least in part on the tracking and the deployment state may be presented at one or more user interfaces. Using the disclosed user interfaces, a user may manage the entire lifecycle of a DRCC and its corresponding hardware components.

  • Patent number: 11834112
Abstract: A tracked climbing vehicle containing a compliant suspension apparatus to prescribe the distribution of forces on the adhering members in the tracked climbing machine. The compliant suspension apparatus is configured to negotiate irregularities in a climbing surface without the vehicle tracks losing full surface contact and adhesion by distributing the loads from the climbing machine chassis to the adhering traction members in a specific prescribed fashion. The apparatus thus avoids exceeding the allowable force in any adhering traction member and significantly improves the performance of the climbing machine.

  • Patent number: 11826167
Abstract: The systems, methods, apparatuses, and articles disclosed herein provide a new approach to treatment symptoms, such as proprioceptive dysfunction and vestibular disorders, which may be caused by certain types of human ailments. According to the present disclosure, a wearable article may include one or more limb sections and a resilient member may be provided along a length of each of the one or more limb sections and configured to generate a resistance force. Adjustments to the resistance force provided by the resilient member(s) may be adjusted using cord locks. As a user wearing the wearable article moves, the resistance force is applied to the user's limbs. Strain gauges may be provided to measure the resistance force(s), which enables verification that the resilient members are sized and configured to provide an appropriate amount of resistance force to a user and may improve programs and regimens designed to treat such ailments.

  • Patent number: 11713816
Abstract: A valve comprises: a housing defining a chamber; a fluid outlet defined by a fluid outlet wall; and a first fluid outlet orifice and a second fluid outlet orifice comprising a rigid seat. The valve comprises a movable gate, that is flexible and/or compressible and impermeable. The moveable gate is more flexible than the rigid seat, has a planar surface, and is configured to slidably move in a first axis. The movable gate is configured to be positioned so that it is located between a fluid inlet orifice and the second fluid outlet orifice when the valve is in a closed position, wherein fluid pressure within the chamber causes the movable gate to seal the second fluid outlet orifice via the rigid seat, and not the fluid inlet orifice. The valve may employ gate shapes that generate and/or exploit Bernoulli effect forces when fluid passes though the valve.

  • Publication number: 20230226682
Abstract: Robots are commonly used for automated MIG (Metal Inert Gas) or TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding in many industries such as automotive manufacturing. A weld procedure is defined and the robot performs motion control of the weld torch along the weld seam, while starting and stopping the arc as desired along the weld seams. The robot controls the motion of the torch along the weld path. The motion is defined by a combination of the position and orientation of the torch which is attached to the robot end-effector. The weld specification will generally prescribe a portion or all of the desired orientation of the torch. This information can be used to reduce the complexity of programming a weld path for a robot.

  • Publication number: 20230216805
Abstract: A computer-implementation method includes receiving a data packet; identifying a virtual queue from a list of virtual queues to which the data packet pertains; and determining whether the identified virtual queue size exceeds a threshold maximum size. When the first size does not exceed the threshold maximum size, the identified virtual queue is increased based on a size of the data packet and the data packet is forwarded. The method further includes setting a virtual queue from the list of virtual queues as a target queue; determining a service capacity based on an update time interval and increasing a credit allowance based on the service capacity. The target queue is reduced by an amount based on the credit allowance size, and the credit allowance is reduced by the same amount.
