  • Publication number: 20250080814
Abstract: A coupler (mount) is disclosed that is configured to releasably connect an image capture device and an accessory. The coupler includes a shaft and a lever that is operatively connected to the shaft, and is repositionable between unlocked and locked positions as well as between disengaged and engaged positions. When the coupler is in the unlocked positioned, the image capture device and the accessory are movable in relation to each other, and when the coupler is in the locked positioned, the image capture device and the accessory are fixed in relation to each other. When the coupler is in the disengaged position, the shaft is removable from the image capture device and the accessory, and when the coupler is in the engaged position, the shaft is non-removable from the image capture device and the accessory.

  • Publication number: 20250067006
Abstract: An artificial turf having a seam that approximates a sine wave, preferably a wave with a peak-to-peak distance of twelve inches and an amplitude of 1.4375 inches according to a preferred algorithm to form a wave that is repeated continuously along the length of the turf, producing a scalloped edge. An equation is provided to specify the exact measurements and the application to the turf edge, providing a precise choice of amplitude and periodicity to match the turf beds. The use of the sine seam is virtually invisible, creating a contiguous turf surface. The precision cut allows the turf fibers to perfectly eliminate any visible junction between pieces.

  • Publication number: 20070077459
Abstract: Fuel cell or other combustor apparatus which utilizes a compressor as a source of compressed air. The exhaust is routed to a expander turbine which partially powers the compressor and is on a common shaft therewith. The shaft is borne by hydrodynamic foil bearings. In order to maintain a high compressor speed, compressed air in excess of combustor requirements is bled from the air inlet to the combustor and is preferably passed to the expander turbine.

  • Patent number: 7144252
Abstract: A tool is used to limit the torque applied to tighten the threaded connection of prosthesis components placed in skeletal bones, for example dental implants. The device had a handle, a retaining screw, a single use torque limiting shear pin and a drive shaft. The handle has a tapered counter sunk cross bore with left handed threads to allow installation of a drive shaft which engages a torque limiting shear pin which, in turn, engages a left hand threaded retaining screw. The drive shaft extends from the handle to engage any threaded fastener that has a head that corresponds to the drive shaft end. The drive shaft and the shear zone of the shear pin are completely isolated within the wrench handle so that all rotational force is utilized in the actual shearing of the shear pin to a torque accuracy of ±0.3 Ncm, approximately.
