  • Publication number: 20180253780
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for efficiently meeting the needs of property buyers, sellers, and agents. Attributes of the user and of each property are combined and processed by a machine learning model. The output represents a prediction that a user will choose to view the property. Each property is ranked and displayed to the user. When the user selects a property, the interaction is used to update the machine learning model. in some cases, a natural language processing system identifies property and user attributes based on a natural language query. In some cases, a chatbot may respond to a natural language query in real time. The system may also be utilized to provide matching services for buyers or sellers to agents, or third party service providers, as well as matching buyers and sellers directly to each other, or user to other users for transaction, interaction and other needs.

  • Patent number: 10027028
Abstract: A method of operation for a hierarchically elaborated phased-array antenna. Within a plurality of front end modules a phased-array processing die individually transforms phase and gain according to a register array. The register array in each RFIC is grouped into a local register group and a global register group, the local registers physically placed close in proximity to RF chains which each correspond to an element of array antenna, whereby each set of local registers control an individual antenna element and a global register controlling overall RFIC function. The method efficiently elaborates phase shift weights into a submodule of a phase array antenna system. Within each subarray phase control submodule the method recursively elaborates weights to control phase shifters. The method receives and transforms pairs of major operators and minor operators. The method distributes to each submodule determining its own base phase shift weight per its unique configuration.

  • Patent number: 9959005
Abstract: A 5-wire touch screen system includes a touch screen (10) including a wiper (11) and a resistive layer (16) aligned with the wiper and first (UL), second (UR), third (LR), and fourth (LL) resistive layer contacts, wherein a touch on the screen presses a small portion of the wiper against the resistive layer, producing a touch resistance (RZ) between them at a touch point on the resistive layer. The wiper and various contacts are selectively coupled to first (VDD) and second (GND) reference voltages, respectively, to generate an analog touch voltage (VZ) at the touch point. The wiper and various contacts are selectively coupled to an analog input (56) and a reference voltage input of an ADC (48) for converting the touch voltage (VZ) to a digital representation. Analog voltages (VX) and (VY) at the touch point are converted to corresponding digital representations by the ADC.

  • Patent number: 9928280
Abstract: To suggest new connections to a user of a social networking system, the system generates a set of candidate users to whom the user has not already formed a connection. The system determines the likelihood that the user will connect to each candidate user if suggested to do so, and it also computes the value to the social networking system if the user does connect to the candidate user. Then, the system computes an expected value score for each candidate user based on the corresponding likelihood and the value. The candidate users are ranked and the suggestions are provided to the user based on the candidate users' expected value scores. The social networking system can suggest other actions to a user in addition to forming a new connection with other users.

  • Patent number: 9920602
Abstract: A swing chamber pump can be situated within a horizontal wellbore for pumping wellbore fluids to surface using a power gas. The pump has two fluidly independent and separate pump chambers, each having a self-orienting gas valve and a self-orienting fluid outlet. A switch alternately directs the power gas into a chamber for conveying stored fluid therein to a production string, while the other chamber passively fills with wellbore fluids. A latency device converts a continuous motion into a sudden snap actuation of the switch and controls a period of delay between the actuation of the switch.

  • Publication number: 20170329646
Abstract: Techniques and structures relating to virtual graphics processing units (VGPUs) are disclosed. A VGPU may appear to software as an independent hardware GPU. However, two or more VGPUs can be implemented on the same GPU through the use of control structures and by duplicating some (but not all) hardware elements of the GPU. For example, additional registers and storage space may be added in a GPU supporting multiple VGPUs. Different execution priorities may be set for tasks and threads that correspond to the different supported VGPUs. Memory address space for the VGPUs may also be managed, including use of virtual address space for different VGPUs. Halting and resuming execution of different VGPUs allows for fine-grained execution control in various embodiments.

  • Patent number: 9813129
Abstract: An apparatus substantially updates all the phase shifter values of a phased array antenna by using “global write” to update these parameters to all phased-array transformation circuits simultaneously via a serial bus. Antenna elements, each controlled by a phased-array transformation circuit, are individually configured to transform phase and gain according to a register array. The register array has a local register group and a central register group, the local registers physically placed close in proximity to RF chains which each correspond to an element of array antenna, whereby each set of local registers control an individual antenna element and a central register controlling overall beam steering function. The apparatus is configured to efficiently elaborate phase shift weights into a submodule of a phase array antenna system with low noise and bandwidth.
