  • Publication number: 20190313870
Abstract: A surface cleaning apparatus is described including a housing supporting a suction source, a dirt collection container, and a cyclonic separation device for separating dirt from the airflow passing through the apparatus. The apparatus further includes a ducting member having an inlet in communication with an outlet from the cyclonic separation device and an outlet in communication with a passage leading to the suction source. The ducting member is removably connected to the housing or the dirt collection container and is rotatably moveable between locked and unlocked positions, and rotational movement of the ducting member from its unlocked position to its locked position aligns the outlet of the ducting member with the passage leading to the suction source.

  • Patent number: 10346626
Abstract: Methods and systems for implementing versioned access controls are disclosed. A first task is added to a first workflow with a first version of a default role. A second version of the default role is generated after the first task is added. A second task is added to a second workflow with the second version of the default role. The first version and the second version each comprise one or more permissions for using one or more computing resources. The first task is performed using the permissions in the first version of the default role. The second task is performed using the permissions in the second version of the default role.

  • Patent number: 10248393
Abstract: A system and method is provided for generating a dynamic, user interface that is capable of frequently changing and learning to provide the most relevant information to the user. The method includes executing a plurality of user interface (UI) modules on a computing device. Each UI module is a software component that provides content for display in the user interface. Each UI module determines its own content and its own priority level and bids for user interface space using its determined priority level. A UI controller is executed on the computing device. The UI controller is a software component that receives bids for the UI modules, determines the number of available spots for UI modules in the user interface, and selects UI modules associated with the highest priority for display in the available user interface spots.

  • Publication number: 20190086038
Abstract: The specification and drawings present a new apparatus such as a lighting apparatus, the apparatus comprising at least one LED (or OLED) module, configured to generate a visible light such as white light, and at least one component such as optical component comprising a compound consisting essentially of the elements neodymium (Nd) and fluorine (F), and optionally including one or more other elements. The lighting apparatus is configured to provide a desired light spectrum by filtering the generated visible light using the compound. The at least one component can comprise a NdFxOy compound with values of x and y determining a content ratio F/O, which may be adjusted during manufacturing of the NdFxOy compound to provide desired output light parameters of the apparatus including at least a desired output light spectrum realized by filtering the generated visible light using the NdFxOy compound.

  • Patent number: 10229200
Abstract: Data elements from data sources and having a data value set are linked by using hash functions to determine a dimensionally reduced instance signature for each data element based on all data values associated with that data element to yield a plurality of dimensionally reduced instance signatures of equivalent fixed size such that similarities among the data values in the data value sets across all data elements is maintained among the plurality of instance signatures. Candidate pairs of data elements to link are identified using the plurality of instance signatures in locality sensitive hash functions, and a similarity index is generated for each candidate pair using a pre-determined measure of similarity. Candidate pairs of data elements having a similarity index above a given threshold are linked.

  • Publication number: 20190013096
Abstract: Systems and methods assist in gathering relevant data in a doctor-patient encounter for obtaining a properly specified diagnosis code. In one embodiment, selectable data items which are provided as part of a medical charting program may be correlated with one or more standardized diagnosis codes (e.g. ICD-10 codes). Upon selection of the appropriate data items when charting a patient encounter, one or more diagnosis codes which are correlated with the selected data items may be flagged and/or generated for later use, such as for filing a claim submission as part of a billing process or to further enhance the clinical workflow of patient encounter documentation.

  • Patent number: 10132124
Abstract: Disclosed is a tubular pipe string element having a pin connector and a box connector complementary to the pin connector. The pin and box connectors are rotationally engageable with the respective box and pin connectors of another pipe string element and have complementary anti-rotation devices that cooperate to prevent unintentional relative rotation between the connectors. The anti-rotation devices may include saw-tooth profiled, radially extending teeth and a steep trailing tooth flank angle for the pin member, and at least one detent member formed on the pipe string element for the box connector. When securing the pin and box connectors, the leading flanks of the teeth engage with the detent members while allowing the connectors to rotate into a fully connected position. The steep trailing tooth flank is trapped by the detent member when in the fully connected position to prevent unintentional release of the connection.
