  • Patent number: 9201948
Abstract: A software-implemented method may receive, organize, and aggregate survey answers from multiple survey sources into a single database, regardless of the initial method of collection. Survey answers may require certain common information fields. The survey answers may include media which is transferred from the survey source to the database, and the original copy at the survey source deleted upon a completed transfer. A survey participant may access his own answer, associate it with a user account using a passcode, and make edits to the answer; the source of a survey may also edit an answer by resubmitting the answer. Edited answers may be displayed along with the original version, for instance in a “threaded” display format.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 1, 2014
Date of Patent: December 1, 2015
    Assignee: Internet Brands, Inc.
Inventors: Franklin Tseng, Armen Abrahamian, Wade Hewitt, Benjamin Meyer, James Watters

  • Patent number: 8392127
Abstract: Methods, biomarkers, and expression signatures are disclosed for assessing the regulation status of growth factor pathway signaling in a cell sample or subject. More specifically, several aspects of the invention provide a set of genes which can be used as biomarkers and gene signatures for evaluating growth factor pathway deregulation status in a sample; classifying a cell sample as having a deregulated or regulated growth factor signaling pathway; determining whether an agent modulates the growth factor signaling pathway in sample; predicting response of a subject to an agent that modulates the growth factor signaling pathway; assigning treatment to a subject; and predicting evaluating the pharmacodynamic effects of cancer therapies designed to regulate growth factor pathway signaling.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 19, 2009
Date of Patent: March 5, 2013
Assignee: Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp.
Inventors: James Watters, Andrey Loboda, Michael Nebozhyn

  • Publication number: 20060053045
Abstract: A marketing system comprising a receiving means for receiving a request for researcher characteristics from a database comprising an array of researcher characteristics, a filtering means for filtering the array of researcher characteristics in order of relevance to the requested characteristics, and delivery means for delivering the relevant filtered researcher characteristics derived from the filtered array.
