  • Publication number: 20050084077
Abstract: A method, system, and program for destination device initiated callee identification are provided. A voice utterance of a callee is detected at a destination device. Then, a callee identity associated with the voice utterance is identified at the destination device, such that the callee identity is transmittable as an authenticated identity of the callee for a call. A caller receiving the callee identity may decide whether to open communication with the callee or terminate the call. The destination device may access a third party device for authenticating the caller identity according to the voice utterance, where the third party device may be accessible across multiple destination devices via a network.

  • Publication number: 20050030192
Abstract: A power supply for LED airfield lighting includes a regulated power supply having a power input, an LED control signal input, and a power output. The power input is configured to be connected to a power source, the LED control signal input is configured to receive an LED control signal, the power output is configured to supply an LED drive current to one or more of the LEDs, and the regulated power supply configured to adjust the LED drive current based upon the LED control signal. The regulated power supply also includes a processor having a current sense input and an LED control signal output connected to the LED control signal input of the regulated power supply. The current sense input is configured to receive a signal corresponding to an airfield current step. The processor is programmed to determine the LED control signal based upon the current sense input signal.

  • Publication number: 20050002497
Abstract: A method, system, and program for origin device initiated caller identification are provided. A voice utterance is detected at an origin device. A caller identity associated with the voice utterance is identified at the origin device, such that the caller identity is transmittable as an authenticated identity of the caller for a call. An intermediary device receives the caller identity with a call request and specifies services available to the caller according to a caller service profile associated with the caller identity.

  • Patent number: 6807732
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for modifying an inner-layer circuit feature of a printed circuit board. A trimming point on the inner-layer circuit feature is identified using an x-ray inspection system. The coordinates of the trimming point are then related to the coordinates of a visible reference marker on the printed circuit board. Next, the relationship between the visible reference marker and the trimming point is used to position a cutting tool over the trimming point. Finally, the cutting tool is used to make one or more cuts into the printed circuit board, until the inner-layer circuit feature is acceptably modified at the trimming point.

  • Publication number: 20030131144
Abstract: The Data Wedge provides the ability to abstract interface method calls based upon functionality between components. This abstraction reduces, if not eliminates, the need to modify existing component code in order to integrate the component with others. This abstraction can be viewed as changing a function call into a function to publish data to other components and a function to subscribe into published data from other components. A result of this implementation is a highly organized and documented internal component data. The data must be organized and documented in an XML schema format in order to use the wedge, thereby reducing support and maintenance costs.

  • Publication number: 20020133997
Abstract: A single shot rifle having a cam operated, falling breechblock firing mechanism. The firing mechanism includes a breechblock vertically movable within a housing member, and a laterally movable hammer operable to strike a cartridge. The firing mechanism further includes a pivotal breechblock link, connected to a manually operable lever, to effect vertical movement of the breechblock. Additionally, the lever is pivotal about a rotary cam member featuring three cam riding surfaces to operate an ejector mechanism for extracting spent casings from a breech, and to allow manual insertion of a fresh cartridge into the breech.

  • Patent number: 4862199
Abstract: An improved adapter is provided for joining an optical scope, such as a borescope, endoscope or the like, to a film or video camera. The adapter includes a multi-element relay lens assembly which directs real images viewed by the attached optical scope to the camera for filming. The multi-element relay lens assembly is longitudinally positionable within the adapter to provide a focusing control. A filter slot is further included within the adapter to allow for the insertion of an optical filter between the borescope and the camera without uncoupling either attachment from the adapter. In order to achieve improved image resolution at the camera aperture of images detected by the borescope, a scope's eyepiece optics and the camera lens are removed prior to coupling the borescope and the camera to the adapter.

  • Patent number: 4007885
Abstract: A yarn winding apparatus with a rotatably driven barrel cam having a groove in its cylindrical surface and a slide member and traverse guide assembly engaging the groove constrained for reciprocating linear movement, as the cam rotates, is provided with a constant tension yarn laydown at the reversals by incorporating a resilient lever between the guide and the slide head capable of being flexed at the cam reversals within a predetermined critical range of from about 2.5.degree. to about 6.5.degree. with respect to a plane perpendicular to the linear movement of the guide assembly when the slide head moves in a horizontal path.
