  • Patent number: 10099734
Abstract: Endless vehicle tracks including a body having an outer surface formed of an elastomeric material displaying a series of ground engaging profiles longitudinally spaced along the outer surface, and an inner surface formed a urethane reinforcement material. The inner surface generally displays a series of longitudinally spaced guide-drive lugs for retaining the track on the vehicle and/or driving the vehicle. In some aspects, the urethane reinforcement defines the inner surface of the body, and the urethane reinforcement may even be a continuous structure forming a base of the inner surface. In some cases, the urethane reinforcement defines wheel path regions of the body, and the urethane reinforcement may even form the guide-drive lugs. In some embodiments, the endless vehicle track further includes a fabric reinforcement layer disposed beneath or upon the outer surface of the upper face of the guide-drive lugs.

  • Patent number: 8128183
Abstract: A rack system for housing electronic and/or electrical equipment is provided comprising a rectangular base frame, a rectangular top frame, and four elongated vertical support members each extending along a longitudinal axis between and joined to two associated corners of the rectangular base frame and the rectangular top frame. The rectangular base frame, rectangular top frame, and the four elongated vertical support members may be constructed from members having the same substantially A-frame cross-section. Each support member may be constructed from an elongated sheet material extending along a longitudinal axis by bending the sheet material about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the sheet material to form at least three elongated sections, where a first section and a second section are adjacent and substantially perpendicular to each other and a third section extends between approximately mid-point of the first section and approximately mid-point of the second section.

  • Publication number: 20070101599
Abstract: The tape measure may consist of a relatively large tape blade. To accommodate a large blade the tape measure housing is formed as a hollow annulus having an open central core where the blade is wound about the core of the annular housing. Because the housing has a central opening it can be easily carried in one hand. The device also includes a locking mechanism for locking the tape in an extended position and a rewind mechanism for rewinding the tape back into the housing. The rewind mechanism may comprise a belt drive, opposed springs with a cam lock, a linear spring compressed by a gear drive, a motor driven gear drive, a flat spring and gear drive or a magnetic drive.

  • Publication number: 20070079520
Abstract: A tape measure blade having improved wear characteristics, a tape measure utilizing such a blade, and a method of manufacturing such a blade are provided. A clear film made of polyester, nylon or other flexible, strong and relatively thin material is provided with the measurement indicia, markings or other material printed on one side thereof. The film is attached to the blade with the printed side contacting and secured to the blade such that the side of the film without printing is the side of the film exposed to the environment. Because the film is transparent the printed indicia are visible through the film.
