Publication number: 20240085477Abstract: A method, computer system, and computer program product are provided for stress-testing electronics using telemetry modeling. Telemetry data is received from one or more devices under test during a hardware testing phase, the telemetry data including one or more telemetry parameters. The telemetry data is processed using a predictive model to determine future values for the one or more telemetry parameters. Additional hardware testing is performed, wherein the additional hardware testing includes adjusting one or more testing components based on the determined future values.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2022Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: James Edwin Turman, ShiJie Wen, Jie Xue, Zoe Frances Conroy, Dao-I Tony Lin, Anthony Winston

Publication number: 20240081941Abstract: Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive, non-radioactive, and low cost technology for diagnosis and identification of implantable medical devices in real time. Developing new ultrasound activated coatings is important to broaden the utility of in vivo marking by ultrasound imaging. Ultrasound responsive macro-phase segregated micro-composite thin films were developed to be coated on medical devices composed of multiple materials and with multiple shapes and varying surface area. The macro-phase segregated films having silica micro-shells in polycyanoacrylate produces strong color Doppler signals with the use of a standard clinical ultrasound transducer. Electron microscopy showed a macro-phase separation during slow curing of the cyanoacrylate adhesive, as air-filled silica micro-shells were driven to the surface of the film. The air sealed in the hollow space of the silica shells acted as an ultrasound contrast agent and echo decorrelation of air exposed to ultrasound waves produces color Doppler signals.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 13, 2023Publication date: March 14, 2024Inventors: Jian Yang, Alexander Liberman, James Wang, Christopher Barback, Natalie Mendez, Erin Ward, Sarah Blair, Andrew C. Patent number: 10665124Abstract: A standard musical score represented in digital format is analyzed for its constituent parts in order to identify notational directives for traversing through the musical score. A linearized version of the musical score is generated that is in substantially the same visual format but allows the reader to traverse through the musical score exclusively in a forward direction and without need for jumps in a reverse direction or forward jumps beyond the subsequent consecutive page. In certain embodiments, forward jumps may be minimally limited to a page within the musical score while in other embodiments a forward jump may be minimally limited to a line or a measure. In yet other embodiments, reverse jumps may be entirely eliminated while in still other embodiments, reverse jumps within pages may remain unchanged.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2018Date of Patent: May 26, 2020Inventor: James Wen

Publication number: 20190235710Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and system for traversing through digital content displayed on a digital device in a piecewise manner. According to one embodiment, a trigger event is received from a user causing an update of a portion of the display area resulting in discontiguous content being rendered. The balance of the display area is updated with continuous content upon the receipt of a subsequent trigger event.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2018Publication date: August 1, 2019Inventor: James Wen

Patent number: 10235527Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for monitoring states of application packages deployed on a cloud-based application deployment platform. A notification service retrieves a copy of a deployed application package from the cloud-based deployment platform, and determines libraries of the application package. The notification service can then determine security vulnerabilities in the libraries, and provide notifications on the vulnerabilities of the application package to a user or developer.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2016Date of Patent: March 19, 2019Inventors: Michael Dalessio, Justin Smith, John Shahid, James Wen, David Jahn, David E. Goddard, Forest Eckhardt, Mark W. Kropf, James Thomas Bayer, Brandon Shroyer, Kelly Gerritz, Samuel E. Smith, Gabriel Ramirez, Justin Archie, Amin Jamali, Daniel George Rosen

Patent number: 10229251Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for monitoring states of application packages deployed on a cloud-based application deployment platform. A notification service retrieves a copy of a deployed application package and metadata associated with the application package from the cloud-based deployment platform, and identifies libraries of the application package. The notification service can then determine which, if any, libraries are or will become out-of-date, and obtain license information about the libraries. The notification service can provide notifications of any outdated components and on license compatibilities or incompatibilities. The notification service can automatically restage the application package, or update the license, upon finding outdated components or license incompatibilities.Type: GrantFiled: August 11, 2016Date of Patent: March 12, 2019Assignee: Pivotal Software, Inc.Inventors: Michael Dalessio, Justin Smith, John Shahid, James Wen, David Jahn, David E. Goddard, Forest Eckhardt, Mark W. Kropf, James Thomas Bayer, Brandon Shroyer, Kelly Gerritz, Samuel E. Smith, Gabriel Ramirez, Justin T. Archie, Amin Jamali, Daniel George Rosen
