  • Patent number: 8668119
Abstract: A container for containing and dispensing viscous comestibles, such as ice cream, is disclosed. The container includes a container body with a nozzle and a container cap movably coupled to the container body. The container cap moves between at least two positions, a first position where the container cap covers the nozzle, and a second position where a portion of the nozzle extends through a container cap opening. In some embodiments a straw portion of the nozzle extends through the container cap opening. A method of containing viscous comestibles is disclosed which includes attaching a container cap to a container body such that the container cap has at least two positions, testing that the container cap moves to each of its at least two positions, inserting viscous comestibles into the container body through a nozzle opening in the container body nozzle, and locking the container cap in the first position.

  • Publication number: 20100196556
Abstract: A container for containing and dispensing viscous comestibles is disclosed. Viscous comestibles typically include frozen and/or partially frozen comestibles such as ice-cream and frozen and/or partially frozen yogurt, custard, gelato, sorbet, and smoothies. The container comprises a nozzle with a nozzle opening at the proximal end of the container. The distal end of the container body has a distal opening. The container includes a plunger cap, which sealably, frictionably fits within the container body, wherein the plunger cap moves towards the nozzle opening in response to suction applied to the nozzle opening. In some embodiments the container includes a lip at the distal end of the container to retain the plunger cap within the container body. The container can include a dispensing ledge or the container can include a lid, wherein the lid can be repeatably coupled to the nozzle opening.

  • Publication number: 20070255641
Abstract: The present invention provides a novel computer interface for trading municipal bonds. Aspects of the invention include a trading engine hosted by a broker's broker and which is accessed by a number of brokers (or the like) via client-machine that are networked to the trading engine. The interface allows the broker to provide search criteria for municipal bonds that may be available as offerings or as bid-wanteds. The interface can also allow the same broker to provide requests for bids for municipal bonds, so that the broker's broker can conduct a bid-wanted process. Each time the search information is updated, a notification is pushed to the broker's client-machine. Likewise, when the bids responsive to the bid-wanted process have been aggregated by the broker's broker, a notification is pushed to the broker's client-machine.

  • Publication number: 20060070661
Abstract: This is a portable, pressurized washing system for use in various situations. It is designed to provide low power, medium to low pressure water at high volumes. Its initial application is for use in equestrian applications. The basic design allows for easy mounting inside a horse trailer, and will supply water under pressure to a user outside the trailer who wishes to hose off a horse, equipment or the trailer itself. There are obviously other applications outside equestrian uses, such as but not limited to, mountain biking, motor-crossing or even SCUBA diving.

  • Publication number: 20060047326
Abstract: A preferred form of the invention can reactivate proprioception system neural pathways by means of specific neuromodulation waveforms, application points and procedures. The improvement and advancement of this invention is the ability to significantly improve the quality of life of people with movement disorders caused by loss of neural transmission in the proprioception system. Unlike present transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TENS) devices this invention addresses movement disorders as a closed loop control system malfunction and not as a pain management problem. This invention has been shown to relieve leg neuropathy, reduce Parkinson's disease tremor and rigidity, and allow frozen shoulders to be completely restored.

  • Publication number: 20050103530
Abstract: Bits for use in drilling with a well completion string or the like are provided. The bits comprise a bit body and a cutting face that includes a plurality of sets of cutter elements mounted on the cutting face. The bit body has a central longitudinal bore having an integrated female non-shouldered, standard oilfield completion string thread. This thread arrangement allows the bit to be secured directly to any standard completion string, well casing. The bits are designed with minimal cutter coverage, and this combined with the integrated completion string thread allows economical completion of a well with the high ROP expected from a PDC type bit. In an additional embodiment, a bit comprises a bit body and a cutting face having integrated cutting structures. The bit body has a central longitudinal bore having an integrated female non-shouldered, standard oilfield completion string thread. A unique bit manufacturing technique is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050003172
Abstract: A method of applying a profiled abradable coating onto a substrate in which an abradable ceramic coating composition is applied to a metal substrate using one or more coating application techniques to produce a defined ceramic pattern without requiring a separate web or grid to be brazed onto the substrate. The invention is particularly designed to withstand the higher operating temperatures encountered with the stage 1 section of 7FA+e gas turbines to allow for increased coating life without significant deterioration in structural or functional integrity. Typically, the grid pattern coating begins approximately 0.431? after the leading edge of the shroud, and ends approximately 1.60? before the trailing edge of the shroud. In the case of diamond-shaped patterns, the grid pattern will be about 0.28? long and 0.28? wide, with an overall thickness of about 0.46.
